If she is AKC registered, you CAN Show her in a conformation show, HOWEVER..if she is not show quality, you are wasting your time, money, and others time. Anyone with an AKC registered dog theoreticly could enter that dog in any show they wanted to..but why would anyone want to go through the training, the daily wrapping of the coat, the learning to groom for the ring, and the expense and time of the traveling if the dog were not show quality? Not saying she is not, just highly unlikely given her place of birth. Why don't you check out Agility or Obedience training? Some Yorkies do extremely well with both, and lots enjoy it much more than they do trotting around a conformation ring. You could go through the classes, then compete for Agility or Obedience, or even Canine Good Citizen titles.. I think that would be a lot of fun for you and her. Quote:
