Slow growing coat.. I've heard some say that coats that are thin and take forever to grow are silk. I'm not sure how true that is because my Foster who is 9 months has a coat almost to the floor and true silk. What age should a full true silk show coat come in. Would 2 years be to long? I would think so  |

Thank you Olivier. I want lots of coat NOW!!..hahahaha.I'm not patient. I could not handle a Yorkie that took 2 years to grow coat. How about very thin coat. Is that good? |

coats A coat does not have to be thin to be silk...I have seen some of mine with a floor length coat at 10 months. Silk can be thin and it can be thick..it varies. |
Tegan has a very thick silk coat and Tizzy will have a coat alot like Tegan's.. My other lil' guy I have back for show has dark silk and it is growing very very slow! :( |
But come on, how slow is slow? When is the cut off. I wonder if people use it as an excuse?..If tehy dont' have coat they don't have coat. That's how I see it anyway..lolol. Spoken from a wannabe..lolol |
