Biewer Specialty in Lexington, KY!!!
 
Our club has made arrangements for our 1st Biewer Specialty in Lexington, KY on April 8th which is a Saturday! This is exciting as we have worked extremely hard to put together a Club we can be proud of and to have Club to represent the Biewers as they should be.

The IABCA should have this linked to their website by the end of the week. We will have the entry forms and fees up on our site by the end of the week as well. Their is a lot of work involved, but it will be worth it in the long run!! :D

Thanks Robbie and Kimberley we have been doing our best we can to introduce a good foundation as a club and provide many opportunities that we can for our members. I will try to get some photos, but it will be hard as I will be in the ring with my babies... Any photographers out there that are coming? :D

My Niece and Nephew will be there with me, I'm sure they'll be taking pictures of all our beautiful Biewers! :D

That is so awesome. Not to mention I am so excited about finally getting to meet in person. We have share so many wonderful emails and great phone conversations. I just can't wait, I hope that more Biewer owners will be there as well, it will be a great day for the breed... :)

OMG, you must have worked your tail off..Maybe I should say "tailS" as I know you could not have done that much work alone. I so wish I could make the trip there but I, like the others, will have to settle for pics..

Sue - one more step in your dream and how exciting. I know the weekend will be a whirlwind for you but well worth it. Many of us will be cheering you on from the sidelines and will be waiting to hear all about it. You go girl :D

I may have hitch a ride in your suitcase... :rolleyes: I promise... Chance and i will not take up much room... You will not even know we are there..We will go to the gym three times a day and drink just water... What ya think... :D

I want you to know that I wish I were going. I just crave learning all I can and this would have been a wonderful opportunity to learn and have a BLAST!! I can't wait to see some pictures! I'll be thinking of you and wishing I were there!

I am going to try my very best to make it up that way for this show! I'm not totally "into" the show "thing," but I think this would be an absolutely AWESOME thing to see! Not to mention the lady I got my 2 Biewers from in Delaware is thinking about coming and I'd absolutely LOVE to meet her! :D

Amanda this is getting more exciting to know that I will get to meet more and more YT members. Hope you can make it!!

You can consider the Specialty Show it is only one show open to all Biewers you DO NOT need to be a member of the club to be in it. I ordered the ribbons earlier this week. It is going to be a blast! Waiting to hear what AKC judge that will be appointed for the show.

We are going to be in Biewer Heaven!!

Amanda - I go every year to the Tucson Dog Show because it is an awsome thing to see so many beautiful dogs in one place. I also think it is a great place to learn more about our little ones and I have always enjoyed shopping with the vendors that come to the show. Even though I am into rescue and not the "show thing" I certainly can appreciate a show dog. Really, I think you would enjoy it and what a wonderful opportunity to met some of your YT friends. I hope you go :)

This just keeps getting more exciting! We are going to have tons of pictures to see when it's over I am sure!! I don't even have a Biewer and I'm getting goose bumps here.

It'd be a total shame for this show to be 2.5 hours away from me and me not go. I'll have to round up my mom and see what's what with my classes for the next week, but I sure am getting more and more excited the more and more I think about coming. I've been to chinchilla shows....never ever a dog show.

Do you bring your Biewers if you aren't showing? *total green question there* Sorry for the lameness.

Amanda not a lame question. You aren't suppose to bring dogs that aren't in the show... :( But with all the dogs there I don't think they will notice who is showing and who isn't. It is outdoors and I suggest we all bring lawnchairs and all of us just set up camp just outside of the show area.. :D

Liza, this is a great idea. I will be available... :) I think our breeders, YT members and Dagmar would love to see a group photo... :thumbup: :thumbup:

The entry Application is now available and can be found by this link Biewer Specality App. You will need Adobe to print off the form. If you have any problems or any questions please feel free to PM me.

This is a open show with the IABCA. With entering this show you can acquire additional points. :)
