Buster's points were miscalculated :embarasse When we entered Buster in the Rose City I had his points verified by his handler back east and was informed he had 9 points needing only 6 to finish, today to our disappointment we found out a miscalculation on points and his total past wins added to 7; with the 3 point major on friday 4 point major on sunday we are one point shy of his champion title, we had such a glorious weekend, what a let down today. So we will be entering him into the upcoming show in Albany to finish him (about 3 weeks away). Debbie will show him again for us in Albany and I will be showing King Legend Royal Ransom in the 9-12 month class thank you again for all your support we will keep you posted |
awww, I'm sorry! It sounds like he still did great! Besides, he's a champion to us! |
While it may be a small disappointment it's isn't necessarily a bad thing that he gets to go out there one more time and strut his stuff. He is handsome and it is only a matter of time! Good Luck with Ransom he is a pretty good looking little guy too and I am sure he will also turn many heads... |

oops... Kimberly..I know it is a let down, but now you know how well Buster can show, one point will be yours in 3 weeks I am sure...hang in there.. Isn't there a place on INFO dog that lists all the wins and number of points each dog has..? PS...that is why it is never wise to cut them down until the certificate arrives in the mail..LOL |

Buster Don't be embarrassed, it happens to the best of them..infact a friend had some points taken away because she put her dog in the wrong class, won, went home, later AKC contacted her and the reserve dog got the points. Hey, have you got an hour or so..I got a ton of mistake stories. I couldn't keep my dogs points straight to save my life..the handler had to correct me many times. |
I wish I could be at the Albany show to watch Buster. You know I'd be there with my camera belt loaded with lenses and my super-duper long lens on the camera to be sure I'd get good photos for you! hehe ;) Keep us posted. |
