Liquid Silk? I ordered this and I'm not sure exactly how to use it or what it is for. Does anyone use it? |
From what I just read on the internet, it's a lubricant. You can go to: google.com and type in the name and read about it. I'm not posting it here! |
NO!!! HAHAHAHA FOR THEIR HAIR! by Petsilk |
Jodi, I have used this in the past. Use only a small amount, about a dime's worth. Put in your palm and rub hands together. Start UNDERNEATH the coat, and come up. If you get too much, it is very oily. Helps put a shine on the coat and prevents fly away hair. Julie |
Julie is right - I've had a bottle for 3 years - it lasts FOREVER and you only want to put a tiny amount on the coat - I use it on wet AND dry hair and I love the smell....it makes them very soft too |
I just went to the website and they have alot of good products. I am going to get some of this too and try it. |
SO would it be ideal for dry areas, like the facial hair and the ends of their hair? I had actually bought it thinking it was like a leave in conditioner to use daily with brushing, but it wasn't in a spray bottle. ha ha |
Im my opinion - no - not on the face - the smell is GREAT but I only rub it on the girls bodies - On Chanel's face I spray a tiny bit of Johnsons No More Tangles Leave on Spray for babies...it's gentle ....both in smell and on the hair... and keeps the face hair conditioned and easier to brush Quote:

Is it sorta like the petsilk leave in silk? Like an oil with a very silky feel? I have some human stuff like that that is made by the folks that make petsilk that I have used on both myself and Jolene. Actually, I bought petsilk a while back for a rescue pup that I had taken in, and inquired about the silk stuff and the PS folks said it was exactly the same as what I had under the counter. Needless, to say, I didn't buy more. I lOVE it though, especially on my hair as it gets so dry from coloring. |

Oil Hi Ladies: I hope you get this message. Where do I get that famous oil? What is the website. I cant find anything. I live in California Elizabeth |
Hi...You can type a search Pet Silk Liquid Silk and find lots of sites that carry it - I forgot where I got mine 3 years ago - also ...I THINK www.PetEdge.com carries Pet Silk products |
I use Liguid Silk too, but I just buy it from out local beauty supply store. The stuff I used though is called Generic "Silk Treatment - Silk Therapy." It is pretty much the same. I forget how much I paid for it, but it does the same thing and again it only takes a few props to work. T. |
Try www.Glamourdog.com she has the product line on sale & additional discount for YT members. I just ordered a bunch of stuff. She was the best price out there. |
I use the Liquid Silk on my Maltese and it's fantastic. I love the way it smells and it makes Tuffy look shiny and pretty. He has a very cottony coat so it makes his coat easier to manage. I don't use it on Pixie very much because it makes her look like a little greaseball. :p |
