Bluebonnet Yorkie Specialty
 

The Bluebonnet Yorkshire Terrier club is holding our specialty tomorrow in Mesquite, TX at the Mesquite Convention Center. Puppy Sweepstakes starts at 11:00am, followed by the regular classes. The Dallas Toy show will be Saturday and Sunday. Spectators are welcome!

I'll be showing 5 over the weekend! Yes, I'm crazy...lol. My 6 month old bred-by puppies will be showing for the very first time. Magnifique's Shine Bright (Brighton) and Magnifique's Live To Shine (Livi). Will also be showing my 17 month old boy, Chase (Amazing's EZ To Believe It), and a 2-year old bitch named Durrers N Vickilyn's Vth Ave, owned by Deb Sillers, Vicki Lyn Hamilton, and Betty Ann Durrer. And Saturday, for the first time, I'll be showing a 10 month old boy named Blue-Fantasy's Forever In Blue Jeans (Levi), owned by Deb Sillers and Sherri Spieth. Should be a busy and fun weekend!

Last weekend was so much fun! Not only the actual show, but the dinners afterward and visiting with friends. Deb Sillers (Amazing Yorkies) flew down and it was nice visiting with her, and she was there to see two of her dogs WIN!

Friday was the Blue Bonnet Specialty. Chase won his 12-18 month class. In puppy sweepstakes, my 6 month old puppies, Brighton and Livi, got second and third place out of 5 puppies. Then, in the specialty show, Brighton WON the 6-9 month class! Was so proud of her winning her class at the specialty, first day out. No points...but was proud of the class wins. Deb's Levi was shown by Ken Lambert Friday, and he won his 9-12 month class, WINNERS DOG, and BEST OF WINNERS for a 4 point major! That made Levi's second major from the puppy classes!

The weekend was the toy show. Saturday I showed Avi, Levi, and Brighton. Levi won his puppy class and got Reserve Winner's Dog. Brighton won her puppy class. And Avi won her open class and got Reserve Winner's Bitch. No points but class wins and two reserves.

Sunday I showed Chase, Livi, and Avi. It was Chase's first time in Open since he just turned 18 months. He got second in the class. Livi won her puppy class. And Avi won her class, got WINNERS BITCH and BEST OF OPPOSITE SEX over a special! That finished Avi's Championship!! She is now CH Durrer n Vickilyn's Vth Ave!

Was really happy that Deb was there to see Levi's win Friday, and Avi's win on Sunday and to see Avi become a new Champion! Deb was able to take Avi home with her Sunday.

It honestly was the best time I've ever had at a Show! Thank you so much Michele for your hospitality, you're running me around, and most of all.. Thank you for taking such good care of my Yorkies, and doing such a great job at handling them! It was a thrill to see both wins on Friday and Sunday and a special treat to take my new Champion Avi home with me! Your babies are beautiful and looking forward to watching them in the ring!

Michele did a GREAT JOB! My Bella that I'm showing for Natalie went Best Sr and Grand Sweepstakes Winner at the Specialty! I think she went 2nd in her class at the specialty and Tracker Radar's son went Select Dog at the Specialty! Chelsie I showed for Kathy Lynch went Reserve Winners Bitch at the Specialty! So, all in all the weekend was a BLAST and a good weekend with shows, food and GREAT FRIENDS!!
