Newest show hopeful 3 Attachment(s) Meet my newest show hopeful. She is out of My Friday and Cindy Mattoni's boy Spencer. This was the unplanned breeding pup. I have been patiently waiting and watching for signs that she would be a show potential and so far it is looking really good. So I decided today that she will be staying here and possibly start a show career as long as she continues to mature in that direction. So in June she will officially be registered as, Kateri N Maitais Right To Remain Silent. And her call name is Miranda. Attachment 383995 Attachment 383996 Attachment 383997 |
She looks nice. I hope she does well for you. |
Aw, she's a doll.:) |
Miranda is a beautiful little girl. I'm sure you will turn her into a star. |
She does seem really nice and I hope she keeps developing beautifully and has a temperament to go with and then you might just have you a little winner! I'm pulling for Miranda! |
Good luck! I hope she grows up to be everything you want in your next show dog! |
Miranda is a beautiful pup! She reminds me of my Princess Sophie! A show dog huh? How exciting. Hope everything goes well!!! |
Thank you all. If she continues to turn out I can honestly say I will be beyond happy. |

She is a beauty. Good luck. I hope she is all you want and more |
Thank you I hope so also. It has been a long wait and still more waiting to do yet. Anything can change so I am remaining positive that maybe she will be a double surprise and make it to the ring. |
Hope she is ready for the Louisville show next year :D She is darling and look at those ears stand right up! |
Thank you , As long as she turns out we will be there. |
Miranda is beautiful. I hope she turns out for you. |
Beautiful !!! |
Thank you both. She definitely has a silk coat. Yay. So now we wait on size and keep our fingers crossed she doesn't fall apart. |
Lori, You've worked so hard, and done everything right. I've watched you, both in the ring, and behind closed doors. There were times you could have cut corners, but you didn't. You've been ethical, and honest. You love and worry about each little pup like you, yourself, gave birth to them. You've told the truth, made tough choices when you needed to, and stood behind all your dogs 100%. You see the possibility and potential in every dog, and not just your "show potential" pups. You are everything a good breeder is supposed to be, and more. I pray that Miranda is the future star of Kateri and Maitai. It couldn't happen to a more deserving person. I can't wait for the day I get to see Miranda in the ring, and wish you all the best. |
Thank you Kim, You know me I have to do everything the right way because I am responsible for bringing these pups into the world. Soon I will be adding yet another test to ensure my breeding program remains healthy. They have a DNA test for Renal Failure and there are ongoing studies to find out the links to other health issues. Anyway, I hope Miranda does end up in the ring. I am planning on Pa again this year so not only will you get to see her but Allie and Mia will get to meet their sister. My Husband has already commented on how much she reminds him of Mia. |

I am thinking of that one for my breed, but if I understand it correctly I will still need to test for cataracts and CERF for same. |
RENAL DYSPLASIA DOGenes - Genetic Testing and Research for Dogs Gail here is the info. I am waiting on my kits to come in so that I can have my girls done. If you decide to get them done They are having a discount I believe til the 26th of this month. Yes I am planning on that and a couple others. With my new pup some tests will have to wait til she is an adult. |
