Well Flirt & Tegan's girls are 8 weeks old today! I took new pictures and thought that I would share with you.. I would like to know your thoughts so far as to what you think of the girls? ;)

They look very nice from here. Nice tailsets and toplines. When do you usually start them in conformation classes?

Irene,

I do not start conformation classes until they have been completely vaccinated.. I like to start them young so that they can get use to the noises, people, dogs and other breeders.. Although they are usually comfortable with other breeds, my home is a zoo most of the time with the rescues..

I usually start them around 4-5 months of age..

Same here. Foster will be 6 months Dec 7th. Do you give bordetella? I did for fear of kennel cough and then bringing it home to the rest of the 'kids'.

Precious!!!!!!!! Can I have one?? I know nothing about showing, but I wanted to let you know that you definitely have a couple of lookers on your hands!

Yes I give bordetella to all my dogs.. Guess I am just alittle over protective!

Thank-you! I am always very excited for my new litters and to watch the puppies mature out and grown into their own personalities! But I think this is the most excited I have ever been about two puppies.. :)

I like Tizzy very, very much..I like her neck and square out line..best wishes

Yes, I like her (Tizzy's) body too, right now. She looks like she will have a silky coat and has a cute face. She stands better on her feet, more square. They both are very nice at this age. Keep your fingers crossed. We are hoping for you! :D

Thank-you! I also like the stucture of Tizzy better right now.. I know they are young, but I cannot believe that 8 weeks have already gone by.. I am also afraid that Franny will only be 4-4 1/2 lbs full grown.. Time will tell..

They are both very beautiful. You are right at 8 weeks it is still very very hard to know what they are going to develop into. Six months is a much better indication. It looks like they have a wonderful start. :) :)

You are not over protective at all... Best money spent with giving bordetella, you never know what you can bring home to the others... Great practice!!!
