I wish I had seen this last night, I looked everywhere for it and could not find it. I love watching it !

That darn Malachy, the Pekingese, takes best in show, again !

That is one Gorgeous animal....

Were there any of our YT Yorkies in the competition?

If so, Does anyone know how they did?

Well beauty is in the eye of the beholder and personally what in breeding has done to the pekingese is just pitiful, but again if AKC keeps rewarding that, breeders will keep doing it..
my choice was the Dobbie or the Dalmation, oh well is over time to move on.. congrats to all lil Pekingese in the world..

I watched all six hours. And loved seeing it all. I will get on line and check out some of the bred judging. I didn't agree with the judge. But she saw what she thought was the best. My highlight was when the silky placed in the toy group . Wish he would have won.

I know me too, one day we will... I am super happy with the placement too, i know the breeder is super happy with this placement..

Have you ever shown or would you ever consider showing, Carmen? I like the "look" of your little ones. Their faces are just adorable.

No - not at BIS level. Peke won Toy group and BIS. sigh.

Yorkies in breed competition you can go to the Westminister site and click on breed judging and get to see the competition - they also post the detailed entries.
Yorkie who won the breed was Diamond Jim - neither handler nor owner/breeder is a member here (I believe).

thank you, my daughter shows, she has a very nice mentor, but like with everything you need to start from the below basement level... :D

the silkys are very nice dogs My daughter has a male max and he had a really rough start First she bought him at a pet store and paid top dollar Next she was in college and could not keep him in her apartment. I told her no when she called and told me about him Then the boyfriend now husband called and said we did it. Next she finds out she can not keep him because of the apartment rules. They drive in a blizzard to bring him to me we are leaving in the semi next day. Needless to say we take off and he is sick He spent his first three months with us and we nearly lost him in the start thank goodness for nutri cal and prime rib lol But we nursed him back to health not going to lie it was hard to give him back to her. But they love him and he will always have a very special place in my heart.

Sorry not the forum for this but had to share. The silkys are very very similar to the yorkies. Even Max was bought at the wrong place and has issues he is a great dog and I would recommend a silky just like a yorkie to anyone. And even though telling her I told her soo.... I am very happy he is in our lives.

Carmen your pups are adorable
