New York Specialities
 
Hi all! Get ready for the excitment in NY next weekend for the Greater New York Club Specialty and the YTCA National Specialty! Those that live in and around NY should try and come watch next weekend to see some spectatular yorkies that come in from all over the world!! Should be an exciting year as some of the top yorkies will be there!!!

I'm taking Geisha and Celie to be shown in the classes so that will be fun!! Radar isn't going this year for the first time in 3 years and I'm sad LOL..but next year will be different he will be shown in the veterans class next year!
Michele Shute will be coming to NY for the first time and showing her sweet London! I'm excited to be traveling to NY with Michele and London! Should be a fun 5 full filled days in NYC!!!

I am sooooo excited!! We are leaving one week from tomorrow! Can't believe it's so close now. We'll be sightseeing for three days and probably watching some of the Progressive. And then I'm showing London in the Greater New York specialty and YTCA specialty! I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone, seeing all the beautiful Yorkies, and visiting New York City for the first time!

I can't make it, but wish I could see Celie and the other lovely yorkies. I hope you have a wonderful time - please post some pics/videos!! Good luck to the competitors!

The yorkies show next Saturday and Sunday beginning in the morning with puppy classes. Probably show times 9:00 am both Saturday and Sunday which is 2/11 and 2/12th. It will be held at the New Yorker Hotel and then the Progessive Toy dog show is on Friday the 10th and yorkies in the afternoon due to yorkie puppy sweeps Friday morning being held at the New Yorker Hotel. You will love the show if you come!!

Wish you could come and watch too!! Pics I can probably take but videos I don't think I will have time getting two dogs ready LOL...Celie will be a hand ful and she will have some nice and tough competition! Some very lovely yorkies will be in her class!!

It would be worth the ride! Some stunning yorkies will be there! Lots of top yorkies in the country and some nice up and rising stars!!! For sure worth the trip to see!

Donna, the very best of luck. Unfortunately I am not going this year; but Ilona and Tanya will be there. I decided for the first time in two years to stay home for our anniversary .. lol.

www.infodog.com should have it when they are ready to post it. For the second time ever, I've seen Package Show - no results. I bought the streaming video; I can check tonight to see if they have posted results on the on line catalog. Also it seems that many clubs are tightening up on no spectators videoing the dogs - bah humbug! I've always video'ed my friends in the show when they are exhibiting. We can learn so much by review of video. And of course we don't have to spend $25 and wait how ever long to get the video if all we are interested in is our little piece of it.

Thank you. I would see where it would be helpful to video each other showing as a learning tool. I've enjoyed when you have posted pics on here from the ring. I know nothing about showing dogs, but I love to watch and learn. I have so much respect for those who show and do it well - the preparation, studying, and hard work behind it is so apparent!

I couldn't read arm band numbers from the video, so I'll wait until I see results posted and post here when I get them

So excited for Barbara - Jimmy is Dash's daddy and I love following Barbara's successes. And! Jimmy's daughter (and Dash's full sister, though not his littermate) went Best of Opposite so I am beyond thrilled for their breeder, whom I love dearly!!

My girls are from Barbara and are Jimmy's daughters. I do not show, and they are pet quality pups - but I love her and her dogs all the same! Was that Hope Diamond who won BOO?

Ch Nealstar's D'Light Her With Diamonds won BOS. Apparently both Dee Dee and Jimmy won over the weekend at the Specialties as well.
