Gray Summitt Missouri - Purina Farms
 
HI all;

Just wondering if any of my YT friends will be showing at Purina Farms this year? I am going there for the BRTCA Nationals, and will also show Razzle (Ithink), in any case he will be coming with me.

Let me know if you will be there, would love to meet up with you all.

Made it to Gray Summitt it was a very long trip, as I got turned around and lost in Indianopolis.

Just chilling now, as dogs have been exercised. With Wifi the world is a smallish place..lol

Are you showing at Gray Summit the weekend of the 25th?
I see that there are 2 boys and 8 girls and 2 male specials on Saturday, and 3 boys, 8 girls, and 1 male special on Sunday.
What are you showing?
We have a male puppy entered Saturday and Sunday.

Gray Summitt a good day for the Canadian Bred dogs
 
First BIS went to a Black Russian Terrier of Maria's breeding. Zar.

Razzle took breed and a Group 4 for the Toy group

Magic due to a Snafu ended up not being shown at all:(

Congratulations to you, Razzle, Maria, and Zar. I'm sorry your beautiful Magic wasn't able to be shown. Razzle is gorgeous, and I'm so thrilled he won today. Both of those wins are really impressive, though with Razzle's beauty and personality, it comes as no surprise to me. Enjoy your time with friends and your babies. As always, I will be thinking of and rooting for you.

Thanks Kristin; no not yet I am staying the week, as National Obedience Trials are tomorrow, Tues is National Conformation Specialty, Wed is Dr Jean Dodds seminar, Thurs is play day dock diving, and rally o, and Fri/Sat is another regular show that Magic and Razzle are in.

Thanks Lisa! We scored 191.5 out of 200 at todays obedience competition for Novice A. Magic and I won high in class and the second highest score overall in the competition. We were awarded a BRTCA member highest score in obedience trials and have a lovely stool to commenorate the occasion. Such a good boy my Magic is!.

Also Dave is now here, flight went well and we are preparing for Conformation specialty tomorrow.

I am really overjoyed, Gail. I knew all of your pure love of Magic and your dedication and persistence with him would pay off. It has made all the difference. You and your boys are amazing, and Zoey is also pretty special.

Send my love and best wishes to Dave. I'm glad that he arrived there safely, that he can enjoy the festivities with you, and that you will be able to drive home together. Gray Summit must be a big change from Saskatchewan.

So Today: was Dr Jean Dodds Seminar - all day on Vaccination Protocols and Thyroid Disease.
She is a great speaker, fully versed in her field, and welcomes questions.

Tomorrow is dock diving. We saw the pool for it, and it is outdoors, so I shall see if it is warm enough outside and if the pool water is warm enough for Razzman to jump into.

So looking forward to tomorrow.

I'd love to hear more about Dr. Dodd's seminars. They must have been fascinating. It's an area that I would like to have a greater understanding of.

I hope tomorrow is really a great deal of fun. I'm sure Magic will jump right in, and I also hope that it's warm enough for your Razzman. They are both such daredevils in the water, and I'm sure dock diving will be a memorable event for your family. I am really excited that your boys (both of them hopefully) are competing in this event, and I can't wait to hear about it.

Thanks Lisa. I'll send you a copy of the handouts from the seminar, but if she does get down your way, it would be well worth it to attend.

This is not really a competition more of a fun introduction to the sport for BRT's who wish to participate.

Oh and the weather forecast for today is calling for rain between 11 am and 2pm, so hopefully we can do the event at 3 ish or so.
