YTCA Roving Nation - San Antonio TX
 

I would like to invite you all to YTCA's Roving National to be help in San Antonio TX July 12th - 15th.
YTCA's annual membership meeting will be held on July 12 at the Clarion Hotel. Following the meeting Royal Canin will host a party for the Yorkie exhibitors at the hotel.
On the 13th - Alamo Toy Dog will host an all toy show (judge Maxine Beam) Followed by YTCA's Specialty - Regular Classes only. Judge for that is Dr. Robert Smith. YTCA's dinner will be held that night in the Hotel.
On the 14th - the YTCA will have a supported entry at the Bexar County KC All Breed Show - this show will also have YTCA's sweepstakes. Sweepstakes judge is Neil Feerar, Regular Class jusge is Keke Kahn. At the Eurodog Center, YTCA will host an agility trial for Yorkies only and 2 Rally trials - one for Yorkies only and one for all toy breeds.
On the 15th, Comal County has a All Breed Show - judge Jon Cole and at the Eurodog Center, YTCA will host an all toy agility trial and 2 obedience trials - one for Yorkies only and one for all toy breeds. That night, YTCA will host a Riverboat ride and dinner.
On the 16th, is Bexar County's All Breed show - judge Kathleen Grosso.
On the 17th is Comal County's All Breed show - judge Jean Fournier.
This will be the first time the National has been in Texas so please plan to attend. There will be lots of lovely Yorkies there from accross the country.:D

Not sure if I'll be there Charlie but, I am making the BOB Trophy.

I am really looking forward to going. I have already made my reservations.:)

I will definitely be there to cheer on my favorite YT exhibitors! Cannot wait for my first specialty - as an obsessed spectator, of course!!

I wish we were going, but it's not in the cards. Does anybody know where it will be held next year ?

I so wish I could go but I don't have anything to show right now. My girls will only be 4 months old.

The Oklahoma City Club will be hosting it next year. The Oklahoma Specialty is always a blast. It's usually held in conjunction with the Oklahoma Toy Dog Club. It's usually 3 days of shows; but it might turn into 4 days of shows......

Next year will be in Oklahoma City in May.

It will be a four day show, YTCA Specialty then YTC of OC Specialty and the 2 days of toy shows.

See you in OKC next month.

I will be there with maybe 2 dogs. Should be lot's of fun.

Great information Charlie! The YTCA Health Committee is also offering CERF testing in San Antonio on Thur. from 1-5 at a cost of $30/dog. OFA Patellar Screening is on Fri. 12-2 and is free of charge for yorkies. These are the two screening tests needed for a CHIC number. There is more information on the screening clinics up on the YTCA website at Yorkshire Terrier Club of America. If we can answer any questions please let us know. I don't volunteer stuff...but, there are those that know I'm an easy touch when I'm asked.

Did the Bows for the Chicago Roving and now Trish hit me up for the BOB trophy....by the way at which I had better get working on.....will only take me a week to finish...but, I always tend to procrastinate....

Geez I hope my plans solidify...it would be worth it just for this.

I'll be at the Roving! Can't wait! I'm glad it's in Tx this year! Hope alot come and watch this wonderful show with gorgeous yorkies!
