Nothing worse than seeing someone that is wearing heels in the ring....you get so focused on the heels you forget to look at the dog. Or someone that is so over dressed....you just don't remember the dog.
Agreed Mary, but sometimes at the Garden I've worn a small heel on my dress shoes

Thank goodness because red is an aweful color on me. And dresses, skirts, and heels are not me at all.
Nice slacks, blouse, and jacket is more my style. The shoes have rubber soles and are not the prettiest but are safe as the instructor in my conformation class drilled into us. The second class we had a lady showed up in flip flops and when we were warming up the dogs she feel and broke 4 ribs and was out at that point.

I know what I said. Just because I can't turn them down doesn't mean I'll show or breed them.

There are some nice attractive flats out there. Comfort and quiet. Nothing worse than a someone clop, clopping and freaking dogs out in the ring.

Flip Flops....oh my, definately ot safe.

You know what I mean. There was a woman that wore "heels" in the ring at Bluebonnet. Someone asked me what I thought about the dog. Geez, I don't remember ever looking at the dog, all I could remember were the heels.

Poochie Petite has some nice bows too.

Yorkielady there is another fun thread on here entitled bows,and some of the history of bow color in the ring was talked about.

Some pics were submitted of different dogs in the ring with different colored bows.

Razzle has a black dress bow, that looks amazing on his head. I also like purple on him. But my breeder likes him best with a red bow with gold trim. My husband thinks his colors are royal purple and teal. LOL everyone has an opinion. He wants me to find a winter jacket for him in those colors and also a bow.

Just paid for my bows from Carl...now I have to sit and wait for them to arrive...:( another of the waiting games...lol
I can say that I am learning to wait better...not perfect..but better:D

Mary my shoes are made by Merrill and are very comfortable and not bad either for looks, and they stay on my feet. I have short chubby feet and usually have to buy kids sneakers, so I was happy when I found that Merrill had a 6.5 that actually fit my little "troll" feet.

Good thing they fit good. I slipped out of mine in the ring at the NY National. I have real narrow feet and if they get the least bit cold, my shoes get loose.

You put the hair up with a band first then the bows have bands on the back of them. So they stay that way.
