Nov 12 Norther Ca match hi guys im going to my first match to show a Yorkie ... on the 12th I was wondering I know what i keep in my Mini aussie ringside box and what i pack up in the dog mobile for show but what do you find indespensible at a show when handling a Yorkie i am just starting today prepearing a puppie for the show ...im hoping they will be more laxed on a puppie than a full grown dog Im going to borrow one of Piglets puppies to show .. since i had to retired her after her first litter and betty is not in show shape she is nursing and all lol and zoomie has had a hair cut lol when i get the cash up i will be buying a girl to show and take piglets place in my breeding program after showing a few years |
Well, of course several bows and leads, just in case, your pin brush, chop stick pick or comb to part their back, paper towels, wet wipes, food/water, x-pen, tack box, towel, table, no purse, but money/coins in waist pouch or something to hold money in (just not large), scissors, bands/scrungies and clips to hold hair back from face, medical kit (had a friend one time whos dog was injured and the kit would have come in handy). I was going to start with just a few things, but the whole thing became a long list. Don't forget your chair and canopy if outside. I quess the most important thing is the first-aide kit.
