What does it mean ? Recently , I was at a dogshow and heard a breeder saying that her pup stand 4 square naturally . What 4 square mean ? |
I can be wrong, but to me it means that her dog can set himself up with all four feet in the right postition and ready to be judged. Some people use "Happy Feet" to help train their dogs to stand correctly, so when you stand them on the table or in the ring floor the dogs can stand with their feet in the correct position (spaced out right) without you having to reposition them. question I would say it means they free stacks naturally. The handler does not have to do alot to get it to stand in a stacked position either on the table or floor...when some come to a stop they assume a stance that shows their structure well without the handler bending over to position it. Head is up, legs at correct postions, tail up etc...coudl be way off, but it sounds good to me!! LOL |
