Update on my little Cash Since I have been back there have been some emails that I asked to put Cash in my avatar as a finished champion (I didn't) so I wanted to clear that up and give you an update on him.. Nancy did a great job taking my Ms. Sadie out of my avatar and putting Cash in her place. Cash will never be a champion except in my heart. Cash is retired from the show ring and is cut partially down. It was bad enough when he dropped his little stubborn tail but I showed him a couple more times after that. He is terrified of being in the show ring, hates it with a passion and is scared of even the ohter yorkies in the ring. I just went ahead and retired him at that point. I will not put him thru that. Nicest dog I have ever had and this has happened. I am very disappointed. He is throwing gorgeous pups tho so he will just be a "stay at home" dad from now on and hopefully, I will get something nice from him to show in the future. |
2 Attachment(s) I forgot to attach the last show picture of Cash. It was taken on a cellphone so it is blurry. The other picture is his daughter who is owned and currently being shown by Susan of Allor's Yorkies. Her first show was the speciality in Louisville in March. (AKC) Puppy classes. She was eight months old at that time. |
Aww Dee...they are just gorgeous! I would also like to say that it's good to see you back here on YT!:) |
Dee, I am sorry things didn't work out for your Cash, he's abeautiful boy as is his daughter. You have every right to be proud of what he is producing. I think i know what you are feeling, I to have a girl that I sent to be evaluated for the ring but she is on the shy side also and very petite, so she will just have to be my baby. |

Hey Dee, sorry to hear about Cash but hey there is nothing wrong with him being a stay at home dad. Hopefully with this next litter we have some show potentials. I am also glad you are back. |

Lynn, he isn't like that at home. he is the most outgoing little guy and loves everyone that comes here. i think Susie's girl is going to be too petite also in the long run. |
Welcome back Dee! He is so pretty and I know how disappointing it is to make that decision, I had to make a similar one recently with my Libby. She just does not like to hold her little tail up and I don't think she's that thrilled with the ring either but I have a new boy to show and I have high hopes for him! |
Cash certainly has a beautiful daughter! :) I have missed you and glad to see you posting again. |
Aww Dee they are beautiful Yorkies and I'm sure one of his son's will love the ring and make daddy proud! |
Next time don't hesitate. I will be taking Bolt's son in at the end of July to see if he likes the ring. I have 3 months to watch him to see if he's gonna show then I wait for Friday's next litter and see what happens there. |
