Can someone...
 
look at this dog show that is schedule for April 8th in Valley Center, KS and tell me what time and where the Yorkies will be shown? I would really love to attend a Yorkie dog show...but am having a hard time understanding the schedule. I believe it is listed @ 1 pm - Fri, Sat and Sun. By whatever cities kennel club. Why is it like that? Do the different kennel club not show together? Or what does that mean? Thanks!

and also on page 19 it mentions...wow that is interesting that they offer such a thing...i would so be into this but it seems like you have to have a show dog already if i am understanding correctly which i am probably not...lol...is this normally offered at shows?

Entries don't close till Mar. 24th. It will be at least a week before times and ring numbers are published.

oh ok...i feel so stupid..hehe...i guess i read the 1 as 1 pm ...lol...guess i will kept on checking.

Will they publish the 24th or a week after that? I am still new and trying to learn also:)

Seems like it is usually just a few days before a show, so probably not until after the 1st.

What is known as the "Judging Panel" usually isn't published until a week before the show. Within this Judging Panel, ring #s and ring times will be posted under each judges schedule. Now if you want to get the entry #s you can call the Superintendent that is overseeing the show and they can provide you the numbers.

Can anybody answer this question? I am curious as how this all works. Do we have to have a show dog to participate? Would they let someone just observe?

The operative phrase is exhibitors with dogs....so, you would have to be an active participant.

It would only benefit you if you have one that you are working with. As I said the key phrase is exhibitor....so, you should be exhibiting....on that given day.

AKC rules are that only dogs that are being shown are allowed on the show site.....
