I know today is the last day for the showing in NYC at the New Yorker. I heard it's $5 for anyone that wants to go just to watch...can I just show up and pay the $5 there does anyone know? I was not able to go yesterday or day before...and would like to check it out.

Absolutely anyone can attend......but, you best hurry....they are about to show Best of Breed.

I'm sure you could get in, but there's not much more going on today except Winners Bitch and the Breed competition. Might be better off just watching the web cam. Maybe if you're reallyh close you might make it..

Mary Ann,

If she doesn't live far and can get there quickly....she's better off going.....she'd get a better view and experience the atmosphere.

I've never been to a show..i wanted to go for the experience and to see all the beautiful yorkies and meet ppl

If you want to go get movin......Best of Breed is a big class and takes a bit of time to judge........

There's a break and I think it's about 1/2 hour....although I don't know how long it's been going on.

If you can't get there the Yorkies Are Showing at The Garden I think on Tuesday......I'll do some checking to see what time they're showing......but, it is a bit pricer.

Get going now...they seem to just starting puppy bitches.....so, you have plenty of time to get there before best of bred.

I hope you go! It just not the same watching on the web cam although the web cam is still good, it's just so much more exciting being there! It took us over 3 hours to get there yesterday but I'm so glad I went! I only wish I could have stayed overnight! Next year I'm hoping to do that and go with out my family. Although I love them dearly, they think dog shows are about the same as watching paint dry! :eek:

I hope she made it also...especially the way the web cam kept freezing and now that they're doing breed...we've got NOTHING except a shoulder!

I went!! I got there just in time to see Best Bitch win. And then there was a little break and then it was Best of Breed. I was just in awe looking around at all the beautiful yorkies..I wanted to touch them all, they're hair is sooo long and beautiful! But of course I didn't lol I just observed as they got brushed and pampered. They are seriously so beautiful! The yorkie that won was gorgeous, but I didn't have a favorite..they were just all breathtaking and so obedient! I could see all the work that goes in to showing.

It's an experience no one should miss if it all possible.....To see all those beautiful, wonderful representations of the breed in one room.

Next year try and go on friday so you can see the puppies.....puppies you see one year and come back the following year or so in full coat.....

Glad you got to go.....
