Bluebonnet Specialty
 
Just wanted to remind everyone that our Bluebonnet Yorkshire Terrier Specialty is coming up September 11th. It's always great fun. After the show the club is hosting a dinner at Texas Land and Cattle and other than great food, drink and fun and friendship, we have a great auction with lots of wonderful items to bid on. I'll try to post the link for the premium list...Hope it works. The Dallas - Ft. Worth Toy Dog Club shows are following on the
12th. and 13th. Ya'll come!! :)

Mary Ann is right. It is a really good show (Bluebonnet Specialty) and should not be missed. I missed it last year, but tried to get there since my girl was entered. I wish I could have gone. She won Winners Bitch and Best of Winners and finshed her championship there too. Nice prizes too - I love what she won and have them proudly displayed. The tray is so beautiful! Competition is great - so you will see some very nice yorkies!

Are you coming this year? Would love to see you there! I'm so glad you liked the tray. It was one of my favorite pieces! I tried to distract Ken so I could grab it, but he held on to it tightly..lol L.Claire who hand painted your tray is coming and will have a booth. Between her and the auction, I'll be going home with empty pockets....(but very happy..:D)

Sweeps Judge is Thedus Neal/Nelstar Yorkshire Terriers

Regular Classes is June Penta.

I am so glad that Ken held that tray tight, and then again it would be hard to get anything away from Ken! I am so glad I had him holding the tray! LOL Yes, I love the tray and is on my secretary desk in my living room. The painting is so good! Lovely colors! I wish I was able to come this year. If I could I too would be really broke. I think I got a really nice brush there too with a carved yorkie on it. We just finished another one - dog and with school just starting back, makes it hard for me to get away. You guys have fun for me this year and then let me know how it all went. I will really miss being there.
Next year will be my year. I am hoping to go to the Roving Sp. and NY this year.

Nice judges too this year. I have shown under Penta before I believe. Both will be good.

Naw! Ken is a pussycat......he'll do anything for anyone. Most of the time he's the only male traveling with a bunch of women and he watches over us like a hawk. He's our social director too.

I have that brush too, but had my Kennel name put on it, yours has BYTC 2008 on it.

Mary Ann is doing the trophies this year too. And she has out done herself.....they are marvelous.

Yep, my brush does say BYTC 2008 on it. Good idea about putting your name on it, especially when going to a show. I have lost a brush at a show once. Left it on my table when I went into the ring. Oh well. It was my CC brush gold!

Yep! I'm going to be there. I'll be handling 2 of Mary Ann's dogs.

Hey, I've lost so many things and had things sprout legs over the years...I've learned to count everything and put it away before ring time. It's a bit of extra work, but worth it, not to lose a $100.00 Mason Pearson Brush or a $25.00 CC comb.....and have to replace them. There have been some exhibitors that have had their tack boxes develop legs....Can you imagine having a complete tack box disappear?

Thanks, Tina! I've had a very special co-chair this year...Certainly couldn't have done it without her...Mary has a difficult time taking credit for anything she does, but I'd be lost without her!

Did you read my above posting? You might want to add the Onofrio.com site for the Toy Specialty....evidently premium lists haven't been received. Did you get yours?
