Ryder is entered in his first dog show in greeley!!! I am super excited Ryder and i will be going to his first dog show in greeley colorado august 15th and 16th. He is my first "real" show dog so i am excited that i have a dog that has a chance at winning. He's just a puppy so we arent expecting much but who knows. I just saw the breed counts and if all the dogs show up on saturday and sunday it is a 4 point major. We will be competing against his daddy so im excited to see how he will do. As soon as i can figure out how to make pics smaller i will post a pic. He is 7 months old and has such an additude. Wish me luck. |

Yahh! Go Ryder! Good luck. Now I have found someone that is showing dogs in Colorado. I'm currently working on getting a show dog from Oregon and have wanted to show dogs in Colorado, but never really knew where there were competitions. Good luck. |
There are shows in Colorado, there are actually two coming up in Greeley, then in November there is one in pueblo and the really big one is in Denver in February. Then in the spring there are the most. There is also a YTCA show in February too. There are a couple good breeders in Colorado too, go to YTCA and go to breeder referral in Colorado, everyone on there shows. |
Thanks so much for the help on the shows. I don't have a show quaility dog just yet. Working on that, but that is still a bit away from happening. I'm hoping in the next year or so I will have a great looking dog to show. Keep us updated on how your little man does. I'd love to come watch, but my sister is participating in the county fair that week so I won't be able to make it. |

He is a very handsome boy. Good luck with him. I have a boy I am going to start showing in September. Although I think I will start with UKC as I am a bit overwhelmed by the AKC showing and politics. We will get there though. Just need a little experience so thinking UKC will be just that for us!! Good luck to you! Let us know how he does! |

His pedigree is comprised of paradise, pastoral, durrer, yorkboro, tyava, montclair, rothby and joymason. He has 38 champions in his pedigree. He is the sweetest most obnoxious little yorkie ever. He SCREAMS personality and loves to show from what ive seen in our handleing class. I am in love with him. He is my first "show yorkie" and hopefully in the next 6 months or so i will get a female from the same breeder so we can stay within the same lines. I feel truly blessed to have such a wonderful breeder so close by that has entrusted me with one of her babies. She is truly a wonderful breeder who really does breed for the betterment of the breed and does every test none to man to make sure she is breeding healthy dogs. She is an inspiration to me and goes to yorkie specialties around the country to teach people that yes there are tests to do one yorkies and they should be done. She is one of the few yorkie breeders around the country who has dogs that are CHIC certified. I am so lucky. |

do you have pics of him as a young puppy? do puppies hair when they are like 9 weeks old have soft no shiny fur? also, can you tell if their topline is straight when they are a puppy? |
