Buy a catalogue, you can follow better. You'll be able to match the exhibitor number bands with those that are in the catalogue. Remember bitches have even numbers, dogs have odd numbers. Boys always go in first. That a precautionary measure in case there is a female in Season the boys won't get distracted.

Thanks again, I will get the catalogue. I'm going to the Specialty show here in Houston in August and I'm going to a club meeting soon.The members have been really helpful with getting me in touch with handlers and breeders and such. I loved the show today, there were lots of people. I am definately hooked....

Have fun today! They are very nice people/exhibitors. I am so glad that you are getting involved. It is a lot of fun and You will love the Specilty- So many top people will be there too. :D The catalog will help you a lot. I still buy one even if I am showing and write my notes in it sometimes too. It will help you learn the judges too.

If you have Paint (Program)on your computer -Go to start, Programs, Accessories, Paint: you can put them on there and make them smaller go to Image and then open box sketch/skew. Once that box opens up - see % boxes for horizontal and vertical. Make the % smaller (same for both hor. and vert.). I usually try 50% in the box first and see how that goes. If you do not like it or not to right size - you can go to edit and undo. Then start back over again with different % number. Whe you have it the way you want - Then hit okay and save. You will need to do this to each picture to reduce size.

17 and 18 (Red jacket and black Pant) are Brenda Rogde with The Greater Houston Yorkshire Terrier Club, she placed first in her class. Just not sure what class she was in.

Tonia is a handler and breeds too. But, mostely Maltese. She had the top winning Maltese/Thriller a few years back.


Marie is a handler and a yorkie breeder

Donna is Brooklyn, she hates breeding, but has

Brenda is an exhibitor/breeder.

I do hate breeding LOL!!!! Tonia went BOB and Marie went BOS..

Marie went Winners Dog and I took him back in and went BOW and Arlene Munquiz had winners bitch and my great friend Linda Thompson went reserve winners bitch and best puppy and went on to place group 3 in puppy group.

Crystal the little girl I was showing in the 6 to 9 mo class went 1st! She showed great!!

Radar went breed today so I'm pretty excited. I sure wish Lance would have won :( He showed beautiful!!

That was the only show I got away from the booth to see....you and Radar! Congratulations!! :) My other favorite, Kate, took third!


And yes we DO have great shopping in Houston! :D

Radar was the only show Yorkie that I was able to see the 4 days I was at the show and that was at the very end of the show on Sunday afternoon. When everyone else was packing up the YHR booth I was able to sneak away and watch and root on both you and Radar. Radar is gorgeous! I wish I would have been able to introduce myself and congratulate on your wins. :)

Jodi, Donna is super super nice and she let me hold Mr Radar. He is truly the picture perfect Yorkie. He should be in every magaziine. I'm glad you guys had fun. Did anyone else take pics? How is your arm?

Donna is indeed very sweet. She has stopped by the YHR booth for the past two years.
I was so sad that I just happened to get a quick break and went by the ring and saw the yorkies showing and did not have my camera with me. It was an unexpected thing. I had hoped to get pics of Radar and Kate. I had gone back to the grooming area on another day looking for them but never found them...that place was huge.
