Morgan Wins Today in W. Falls, TX I just have to brag that Groveshire's New Sensation "AKA" Morgan went Winner's Bitch today handled by me for her breeders Preston and Marylou Groves from Canada! I've have the privilage to show an awesome and gorgeous yorkie! She will be my first client yorkie finished as her handler/agent! What an accomplishment for my first client! She won her 1st 5 point major at a very Prestigous Toy Dog Show at the Progressive Toy Dog Club in NYC with some of the best yorkies in the country and handlers! She only needs a major to finish her American Championship! With limited showing I am very proud of our accomplishments! What a way to start in the world of handling! I am totally excited!!! I see GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENTS in my futre with showing client yorkies. I will be showing another client yorkie in the near future! I am just beside myself!! On another note, I'm excited a dear friend of mine let me do their yorkies top knot for the show today LOL...I just love showing and the grooming aspect of this great endeavor!!! Look for my next client yorkie in the near future!!! Donna Bird Brooklynn's Yorkshire Terriers |

I'll get my price sheet together and send ya! Donna Bird Brooklynn's Yorkshire Terriers |

Congratulations Donna and Morgan. Donna, you have ever reason to be so proud of your accomplishments. You always seem so calm and composed in the show ring. I do wish you the best in the future. Are there any majors coming up that Morgan is entered in? |

I love to show so that is why I seem calm LOL...I"m usually a bundle of nerves but I can hide them pretty well LOL...I use to get that way when I barrel raced but it was all fun! |

Congratulations Donna! This is fantastic! I use to show so well and was calm too - LOL - not now. Ugh! I am so proud of how well you are doing. And Morgan is such a good one to start with - showing for someone else. She is such a pretty girl! Hopefully we will see photos soon if okay with Preston and Marylou. I would love see photos on her on YT to show great example of a yorkie (great learning tool - you know). T. |
:congrats::congrats::congrats: Yeah!!!! Morgan and Donna!!! Congrats on your win!!! Wish I was there to see it. |

Love ya, Donna |
Congratulations! I wish you were in the East. I need to look into this handler idea (either hiring one or becoming one), but don't know where to start. It might be pretty hard to leave a full time job to do it, but there's always retirement...LOL |

Show your own dog for awhile until you get good at it and then find a handler that will work with you ( that's what I did ) and go to the shows is the best way to start and if you can't and you show yorkies make sure you find a handler that specializes in toy breeds. I have a full time job and hope to just make this a part time gig because I love the show ring. Donna |
I have raised my kids with the youngest now in college and I took on a full time position just recently myself. I am hoping to get out some myself in the ring this spring/summer. I like getting out with my dogs I just need to master showing LOL I usually am just too nervous and I do have a problem with BP dropping and dizziness which makes showing very difficult for me. Small shows are about all I can really do because of the BP and dizzy problems. |
Congrats to you both. Donna you look very professional and comfortable in the show ring! |
