please judge me! :P 2 Attachment(s) How does her topline look? I slicked it down with water so you can see better. Does she have enough neck? I think she has nice leg and she will be big enough she is 2lbs 9oz at 12 weeks old. I love some other opinions on her! |
Well, I'm certainly no expert but I think she looks pretty darned good! |
she has a beautiful topline and neck. Looks like she will be up on leg too. the judges usually love that.:) Can you get a good face shot so we can see her ear set? |

Bumping this up so some experts can post for you! |
2 Attachment(s) Oh this is good news, I love the responses. Heres a front shot of her taken just a few days ago! Shes got nice leg I agree! |
I will start by saying I have absolutely no experience with this...but she looks good to me. I'm impressed she stands so still :) |
Thank you! It took many repositioning and noisemakers to get her attention. Shes a busy-body girl so dont let the pictures fool you! Haha. :D |
I think you have a very nice show prospect!!! She is beautiful!! Best of luck!! |
She looks very well balanced I like her a lot. |
very nice earset! She will do well in the ring. if I were you, I would put her in a puppy match or two until she gets old enough to actually compete for points just to give her some ring experience.. |
Thank you all for the responses, I am very excited now! This was the whole reason for doing the breeding and I think I got just what I wanted! I would really love to try her in some puppy matches to get both our feet wet, I have been working a little with her on the stacking, she does pretty well so far. How do you know if a show is holding a puppy match? |
What are her bloodlines? I actually from the pictures really like her! I think she has potential as of now. I love her topline, she has a nice neck and a beautiful face! What is her bite like? I'd hang on to her for sure until she was at least 6 to 7 months. They all go through stages but she's really worth hanging on too! Good Luck! Looks to have a nice coat also! This all is just looking at the pictures hard to really tell unless you have someone actually go over her and watch her move ect...but I do like her very much! Thank you Donna! I will try to post up the pedigree so you can see. Thanks so much though for your input! So me she looks like she moves good, she isnt bouncy, just sort of glides lol, and her bite is good so far but I know it can go off. She has a level bite, which is acceptable with AKC. I am just crossing my fingers she stays nice. But I will def be holding on to her! |

I will be excited to see her pedigree! She really is very nice!! Donna Bird Brooklynn's Yorkshire Terriers |
still trying to load up the pedigree, I have it in a word doc. But on the dams side its a lot of canadian lines and some hungarian. the breeder of the stud says she is small, shes 2lbs 10.5 oz weighed today and will be 13 weeks in 2 days. Do you think she will be small? From most current weight charts she is expected to weigh around 5.8lbs. |

that weight doesn't bother me yet but depends on how well if the breeder of the stud knows her lines and how they mature at certain ages. The weight charts aren't always correct. Some will stop growing but if the breeder knows the lines really well then usually the breeder can determine if they will mature into a nice size. I don't think she's too small for her age but again they can either stop growing and continue to grow. That's why you need to hang on to her until she's at least 8 to 9 months. I had a small bitch that was right at 2 pounds at 13 weeks and was only 4 pounds at a year but now she's 19 months old and weighs in at 5 pounds 6 ounces (not overweight). So you just never know unless you know the lines really well :) Donna |

Hey! I don't mean to be mean, but U have to remember this all the time: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...-politics.html PPl will let you know if Ur dog is OK for the show or not (in order for you not to be hurt even before the competition) ... other than that you have to find your own way! PPL still will give you some piece of advice in order for you to stay on the game (no more no less), because they simply can't get enough points without enough ppl showing and they are trying to keep the game as fair as possible! Don't kid yourself! You are not going to win right a way! It is a very tricky game, but it is so enjoyable!!! You have to learn the rules! You have to learn how to avoid "unnecessary stepping on someone's feet" and love your dogs! If you can do that you'll be so happy to do what you are trying to do! My best wishes! :rose: |
I dont think she will do at all so you need to just sell her to me:D:p Just kidding I know nothing about showing but I think she is just a dollbaby. |
