Shows in Atlanta
 
Hi,is anyone going to the shows in Atlanta the weekend of the 21st,I'll be there taking my girl Georgia she will be shown by Barbara Beisel and them will stay with her till she finishes her championship,will love to meet some of you.

Hi Tami,

No,She'll start showing her that weekend I do know she is showing 3 other girls I believe she finished one this weekend.

I am showing a Maltese for a friend. If there is a major, I will come to Atlanta to show her bitch.

Barbara offered to take Connor, I was very flattered. Do you find her to be reasonably priced? My first thought was so far from home but my second was can I afford Barbara?

I think her prices are a little high,but what I thought was if I am going to show my girl I want her to be shown by one of the best.Since I do not live in the states it will always be cheaper.I contacted several handlers and I liked Barbara the best.

Ah,and of course I want someone who can finish Georgia fast Barbara estimates she will be back home at the most in 6 weeks so this is a plus for me.Connor must be very beautiful.

I also made an estimate of how much I was going to spend and it will be close to what I have spent in the past finishing one of my dogs.

Connor has a softer silk coat but his color is fantastic. He doesn't care for strangers much so showing isn't his favorite thing. Most of the time he doesn't show well for me. Barbara said that he is trying to control me and I must admit that sometimes he just has me whipped. I've pretty much made up my mind to send him to a handler, now I just have to decide who. I just want him finished so he can do what he likes best, stay home and take care of his gals.

Ja,ja,ja I have that same problem with one of my boys so after Georgia finishes Georgia I want to send him to Barbara.In the other hand Georgia loves it in the ring so she won be a problem .If you go to Atlanta we must meet.

I've also spoken with Bev and Angel of Tiffany's and David Fitzpatrick handles alot around here and has been highly recommended. I met Trish Kulessa in NY and I liked her very well but she's so far away.

I'd love to meet you but I really doube I'll get to go. I have a gal due to whelp this week, in fact her temp dropped this morning, and an other little gal who may be preggy to keep an eye on. I went last year to pick up a puppy and I really enjoyed it.

Good luck with your girls.If her temp dropped your having puppies very soon how exciting!!!

Can you recommend some hotels in the area?Is this show a big one?I've never been to a show in Atlanta so I don't really have an idea.Barbara is showing another girl who only needs 2 singles so I'll be showing Georgia friday.

It's a good sized show. The place is a bit of a dump but they have a great buffet. I don't know the best place to stay as I flew in and out on the same day. Barbara can probably recommend a good one since she is there so frequently. It's crowded and crazy there but you should have some good competition.

OMG since Barbara always goes on her motor home she doesn't know she did tell me the same thing taht the shows are not in the best part of town.I hope they have majors.

We always have majors in yorkies here. My club is sponsering that Friday's show. Sawnee Mtn. :-)

Hotels - do not stay in that area - Jonesboro Ext. Probably best to stay near the airport, which is not that far away. I would contact the Atlanta club and they will have a better idea of where to stay.

Hi,Topnot I was looking at the hotels the clubs have on there Premium List could you please tell me if they are safe.Once I went to Atlanta an loved it but it was on vacation and I sated at the Ritz.Are yoy going to be there?I would love to meet you!!!!Are you showing?
