Mugsy's First Show 3 Attachment(s) We went to the Denton Kennel Club show last Saturday...our first show! Mugsy was the only one entered in the 6 to 9 month puppy dog class. He did manage to place first, lol.;) He was such a little ham! :D The judge was so nice and said he is just having a good time. :p Anyway, you have to start somewhere and it was a great experience. Kristin(Little Miss Magic) was a great help. Mugsy shook his bow out 5 times before we got to the ring. She and her friend were so patient and helpful...thanks again, you two. :) Here are some pics...used by permission(Yorkieluvof3). |

youre right we all have to start somewhere...:) she looks nice in the pics, great top line...first time I put Summer in the ring she shook her bow out while walking in the ring...twice:eek: when we reached the table the judge was very nice and laughed it off!! then she went in for reserve and shook it out again, it flew way across the ring:p so much for being a girly girl...:D |

Hey! Congratulations! Glad you had a good time. Ahhh puppies and bows, it used to worry me so bad..."it's crooked, it's side ways, it's hanging by a thread, it's going to fall out any second!" I realized that alot of people have had their war of the puppy bows and now I just think it's cute! "Give it an extra twist and go back in!" :D |
OMG Karen he is a doll!!! I love his face coloring! And he's still dark - you know I love the dark ones :D Wow! I'm so happy for you... Wish I could have been there. Congratulations Karen!! I'm sorry I wished I would have introduced myself LOL but when I have dogs in the ring and I'm watching from the sidelines I'm too focused on my dogs LOL....you showed him great! Kristen is so good with the dogs!! She showed my little girl Molly ;) I'm so proud of Kristen she's done extremely well and going to be a great handler!!! THANK YOU ALL so much for all your compliments and encouragement. It means so much. The show was lots of fun and I enjoyed seeing all the gorgeous Yorkies. Donna it is very nice to meet you. :) Yes, I saw your beautiful Molly with Kristin. And don't you just love Kristin? I know she will go far in the show world. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: Pam I'm hoping maybe we can attend some shows together with Mugsy and your new baby girl, Ayla...split the gas since it's so high.:p |

Karen, it was nice to meet you and Mugsy. I felt so bad about his poor little leg..I hope it gets better. He looked like he was having a good time in the ring though! Hopefully his next show won't be quite so hot! How fun that he got to celebrate his 6 month b-day with his first show...oh, and I love the first picture..too cute! |

Congrat on your first show! The first time I think is always exciting you never know what the little ones will do *lol*, but the most important thing is that you and he had fun, cause than he will show also well at his upcomming events. Good luck to you both! |
