Yorkiepoo growing Hi. I got a yorkiepoo a couple of months ago and I didn't know alot about his breeder:thumbdown .(sorry..i should have been better educated). My puppy is now 4 months old and he's 5 lbs. I do not know if I purchased a standard poodle and yorkie (which i what I'm guessing) or a what?? I'd also like to know how big he will get. I can't seem to find an "guestimate" on this anywhere. My guess is that he won't get any bigger than 10 lbs? Am I just being hopeful? (he's got WAYYY more yorkie than poodle.) |
when mixing there isnt alot anyone can determine i would go back to the breeder, if she has other generations she can help answer your questions... |
Welcome to Yorkie Talk and congratulations on your boy!! Size is always a touchy issue...sometimes you can estimate but nothing is ever exact. A lot depends on his body structure/type. A short stout 5lb dog looks very different from a tall lanky 5lb dog. Regardless of how much he weights he will bring you so much joy over his life. Enjoy the sweet innocence of puppyhood and socializie, socialize, socialize!! :) Best of luck to you and your new guy! |
