What about thses judges?? Dr. Harry Smith, Michael Dachel, Diane Malenfant, Keke Kahn, Dr. Steve Keating or Don Sutton. Just would like a heads up before I enter Oscar and Indy. Oscar is a very light blue adult and Indy is a nice dark 6 month puppy with nice tan coming in. Thanks in advance!!

Well in that case, my dog isnt that tall after all. There are a lot of little males showing right now so maybe that is skewing my perspective.

As far as Steven Keating is a judge I will never enter under again. My observation was he is one who will only put up handlers.

Don Sutton was a little better. He put up a very light dog for WD which I am witholding my opion of. However, he was partially redemed in my eyes when he picked a magnificent bitch, over a special, for breed.

All these judges can be very political....I've shown under them all...Sutton is not as political as his partner Keating....Harry Smith likes a pretty dog and KeKe well she's I'm not gonna say on a public fourm lol...I'd still show to most of them anyway they aren't on my list of judges not to show too yet except one...Don Sutton put up my dog for winners but didn't cross over the major because he knew my friend and gave her best of winners but since she is my friend I didn't get mad but now if she wasn't maybe I would have LOL. To be honest how light is the adult? May be hard to win with a light adult but I've seen it happen

Thanks, it will be my first AKC show and I am scared to death due to her color. She will be ten months old. All they can do is tell me to leave I guess they can't kill and eat me!!!!!:D i have heard it is a small show so I thought it would be good for the first time.

Good for you! I say go for it Dee. How small is your gal anyway? Danali is very dark and her head hasn't even begun to clear at 9.5 months. I'm just playing it by ear and we'll see what we've got when we get there. I hope you have a wonderful time at the show and meet some great people.

Diane Malenfant I wouldn't hesitate to show to.....knows her yorkies
Steve Keating and Don Sutton I know personally and they both know their yorkies and will put up the best one in the ring.

I'm not fond of Keke Kahn....can be very political.

Smith was very political.

Dachel I've never shown to.

Malenfant is good w/ puppies so I would not hesitate to show your puppy to her.

Kahn will throw a crippled dog out of the ring even if w/ a handler and has no problem withholding ribbons so I felt very good that I got a ribbon under her. She w/held winners on an entry of 4 IG bitches and there was only 1 dog so no points. She was very good w/ my puppy.

Keating or Sutton both know too many ppl that I show against here so I don't show to them.

Mr W. Everett Dean Jr

Erika K Moureau

Rodney E Herner

Joe C Walton

Curious because the last 3 judges are set up to be all strong majors. Should be interesting.

She is just under four pounds and will be in the 6-9 month class.

Keating and Sutton do know yorkies I agree but can be political LOL...if they don't know ya and they know someone else in the ring they'll put up who they know..But I agree KeKe I'm not fond of either
