I scrolled down to look at the other dogs and was sad after looking. There are so many that say their time is running out and then in bold red letters say,NO LONGER AVAILABLE with a sad face next to it. This makes me so upset to know that they had to be euthanized!!!! :(

Here is more info on him from the webpage.

Memphis was another shy dog at the pound and did not seem to like the leash very much. However, once he got in the interaction pen, all he wanted to do was act as a lap dog and give kisses. He is adorable. Do not let his shy personality shy you away from seeing his true self. This guy definitely deserves a chance.

Update: Yorkie lovers rejoice! Memphis is a calm, cool dog. Just give him a minute to warm up and you'll see how great this tiny bundle can be! He looks a little scraggly in his photo, but his fur is actually very soft and clean; it just needs a trim-- come see him for yourself!

I certainly hope someone can get him before he is "no longer available". Surely there is some kind soul in Athens.:(

I called they have three applications for him,they told me to call tomorrow and see if any one got him,he is only fifty dollars,if no one gets him im going to try, i dont want anything to happen to him.I already have three babies,i figured i could save him and find him a good home here on yt.

anyone let me know if he still needs to be adopted....i would be more than happy to rescue him! i hate dogs being sad or get killed.my boyfriend and i have a soft side when it comes to animals.we already have 4 puppies,2 turtles and 2 kittens.
