Male Yorkie in Oklahoma
 
Ok... so I went to the bank today and one of the tellers was telling me she needed to sell her male yorkie who is almost 2 years old. I saw a partial picture of him (his back) and he looked cute. Seems to be silver and tan.
She said the reason she needs to sell him is that she is not home enough to potty train him and they live in an apartment complex. His name is Bogey and she said he doesnt really bark or whine, nothing wrong with him medically.. she just doesnt really have to time to get him trained. She did say he is/can be registered but I forgot to ask which registery.

I wanted to get him for my mom but she says she isnt ready for a dog yet. Let's see if we can find Bogey a new forever home that will get him potty trained and love him forever!!!

If anyone is interested please PM me and I can give you her name & mobile number. Oh... I guess the important part.... she is asking $200.

Hubby said YES!!! WAHOO! He's not to his forever home yet, but just thought I'd update ya'll that we're working on it.

Well ya know, I thought he was just perfect. And I talked to the owners and just couldn't find anything against it.
We had already decided on getting another yorkie - male (Pixie tends to be territorial with females) - and older (not old, just no more babies). So Bogey fits us to a T. The only problem is that it'll be a while before we move back home and we had kinda agreed to wait until then - but I managed to convince hubby otherwise ;)
That's all I know at this point - she sent me the pictures, I showed him, and he approved, so I emailed her back and said we want him.

OH YEAH!!!!! I am so excited. So when are you guys gonna get him? Are yall coming to the playdate April 14th? If so... maybe she would be willing to bring him there for you to p/u. Just a thought??

I don't know if we'll make it to the playdate or not. Actually, if I have Bogey by then and he's well-behaved, I may take him even if Pixie can't go. We'll see. I would like to go just to meet everyone and see all the yorkies if possible (even if it's without Pix or if I only stay a few minutes because of Pix).

We have a tentative date set of transfer on Monday... that's assuming that his schedule doesn't change and that they don't do Pixie's surgery on Monday. Hah! Lots of assumptions, but he's headed our way just as fast as he can. ;)

So do we know if Monday is happening or not? Just curious. If so... is the plan for you to come here, are yall meeting 1/2 way or what. I was just wondering b/c if you are coming here..... I would SURE like to meet you and your husband.

Monday is NOT happening.... but SUNDAY is! :D We're meeting in Pauls Valley - I think it's off of 35. I thought about that too that if I went all the way, stop and see you, but they're working with me in getting him here. My husband won't be with me anyway - he's got to work unfortunately.
Sunday would be so much better for me as I have school on Monday and would have to do it late Monday evening... and get home late... and then I have 4 early classes back to back on Tuesday. I would be flat worn out. Monday I have 2 classes and they start at 10:30, and I can go earlier on Sunday (not late). Anyway - the plan right now is to meet at noon on Sunday... and we exchanged cell #s and said see you there.

Bogey's coming home tomorrow! :woof: I'm so excited. :yay_jump: We're still expecting to meet up around noon in Pauls Valley. I will be taking Pixie with me to meet him on neutral territory as she can be very territorial and don't want to bring him here to meet her. Although she's much more territorial towards other females than males which is why I want a male. :rolleyes: Silly dogs. Anyway - I'm so excited, and I can't wait to bring him home and see what he's all about. Maybe even post some pictures of the two of them tomorrow night :xfingers:
