Looking for a Good Home for Female Yorkie in Northern Illinois
 

Well, I never thought I'd be writing this, but it lookslike I need to find a new home for my little girl... sadly, I'm going through a divorce -and suddenly becoming a full-time student, along w/ being a single mom to 3 kids, is taking its toll on everyone.. caring for my furbaby is becoming increasingly difficult. She doesn't deserve to be alone so much, and I can't afford the care she needs. So, if anyone is interested, here is some information-

She was born 4-22-06 so she's nearly 10 months old.
She's black and tan, weighs 6 pounds.
She is not spayed, I haven't been able to afford it so please consider that she'll need this procedure done.
She is AKC, I have the papers but have not sent them in to have her registered.
She is still working on housetraining, she will go on a pad, and outside, but still needs to be watched for accidents- but I know w/ these little guys it takes a little longer- so please consider this as well.

Her name is Schatzi, she's the sweetest little girl and sooo cute, this is a very hard decision for me but I want the best for her. If you are interested, please PM me or leave a post.

I am not charging any money for her because she needs to be spayed. What I really want is to find a good, loving home for her where someone will be with her during the day so she can have the attention she deserves. The picture by my screen name is of her, I'll try to post another few pics tonight.

Please, only serious inquiries, preferrably close enough so I can drive her to you or you can come to pick her up. I live in the NW suburbs of Chicago.

Hi there. Are you still looking for a home for your baby? We've been looking for a little one since before Xmas. We had to put our Molly down several months ago. She was 14 years old. We had her since she was 6 weeks old. We are now ready for a new baby in our life. We'd like to get one that needs a home as much as we need him/her. I've been searching online at Petfinder and the Humane Societies. Yorkies don't show up very often there. There are quite a few in other states, but I don't want to travel hours. We live in Woodridge, IL. Where in Northern IL are you? Please respond. I'd love to help you.

:) :) I am wondering if you have found a home for Shatzi yet. We have been looking at Yorkies for awhile. Plus I noticed you live in the same town. Im sure you've already found a good home for your beautiful furbaby. But jut incase you haven't please let me know. I've been trying so hard to get a yorkie for the past 5 months. Most of the time it ended in a scam. I havent lost any money but each time it's another heartbreak. Thank you so much for the inquiries, I appreciate them all. I have found a new home for Schatzi, she is now living with Erin, who is a YT member here since 2005. Erin is Loki's mom, you may recognize the name. Erin and her husband are very nice people and I feel comfortable with them raising my Schatzi. They are very dedicated to Loki and care for him so well, I know that they will love Schatzi just as much. Schatzi already loves her new "dad" and apparently won't leave his lap :p

It was one of the hardest things I ever had to do, but I know she is in a great home w/ great people and a new big brother. So, thanks again to everyone.

Awwww poor girl.... I am sure that she will miss you but you are doing the right thing. If your gonna have a pet you have to give it attention and not leave it there abandoned. It's funny cuz i was looking for a girl but i live in florida. If you really dont find anyone let me know and maybe we can come up with something to get her here to the sunshine state! good luck sweety!
