| I've seen them on the web but the other day I got to meet one in a pet store - it belonged to the lady working there. I totally fell in love! Such a wonderful temperament. I know each dog is different, so who knows if that is what they all would be like, but if I could have taken this one home, I would have in a second.
She was a puppymill rescue. She was 8 weeks old and had never been out of her tiny, tiny cage - she couldn't even really walk. She was sick, but this woman insisted on buying her even though the guy said she had to take the Yorkie she agreed on.. she had no idea how horrid the conditions were there.
As soon as she left, she called the humane society in that area and the place was shut down 2 days later. YEA!!!
Anyhow, got off the subject a bit... she was so adorable. She kept staring at me with her sweet face and gentle eyes and I was whipped! I have done some looking on the web, but find only puppies. I want a female that really needs a home, you know? I'll just wait paitently and see what God brings my way.... (and keep looking at rescue sites:D ) |
