awwww !! good luck in finding him a wonderful home !! ;) |
Dog Whisperer May I suggest watching a few of his episodes? He really teaches us how to become that alpha pack leader, all humans within the family. How proper walking techniques relieve the stress dogs take upon themselves. I find the problem I run into with my kids is they see our older dog as name, breed, animal instead of animal, breed then name. I try to get them to learn how to walk the bigger dog but as kids go....their attention span is quite small:rolleyes: . It's always easier for Mom to do it. |
Oh my goodness I am sooo sorry to hear that you have to rehome your little guy. He is so cute and I can't even IMAGINE having to do something like this after having my baby for EIGHT YEARS  OMG that is just so heart breaking :( Good luck in finding a home for your special little guy :( |
I'm sorry that you have to give up your dog. I'm actually a rescue volunteer and foster mom for Save A Yorkie Rescue. If you keep on having a hard time still finding a home please let me know. We might be able to place him with one of our applicants. You can check out our website www.saveayorkierescue.org and check out our adoption process. We very careful and selective with the homes we adopt our dogs to. Please think about it. |
Thank you JENNGEN....i looked at your website and it looks like you are in PA ...do you place dogs in my area of NY (Rockalnd County), or surrounding areas ? |

Just bumping this to see if there is anyone in the Rockland County NY area looking for a Yorkie. Thanks All ! |
I live in the New York area, in fact I just bought a house in Mount Vernon, NY. Could you please send me some pictures of your baby. Thank you. Have a blessed day. pturner@panynj.gov |
I hope you find a lovely home for him with people who will let you visit him. |
this is an old thread! haha. Just incase the person is still looking for a home for their doggie...I'm so sorry. We just had to rehome our three due to a move...including my lab mix who I've had since I was 5, he was 1 (he's 9 now). And I'm posting because I see you saying that you don't want to let him go out of the area. I felt the same way. But Rusty (my lab) found an incredible home in Alaska. and as hard as it was to let him go all the way out there, I see pictures of him ALL the time and he has a wonderful life. its been a month, so its still a sore spot, but it is getting better. So I would suggest, if you are still looking, that you look outside of your local area. Best of luck! and hugs to you. |
