a1 year old male yorky is available at Burlington County Animal Shelter in Mount Holly,NJ at 609-265-5073.He arrived 5-15 and animals are usually put down after 9 days.I wish I lived closer.Is there someone who could rescue him?He is cute.I did put this thread under the rescue section.Cathy and Yoshi:(

Oh, I hope he finds a good home. He's just so cute. I wish I lived closer and my husband wouldn't kill me if I got another dog.

In petfinder it says the pup was turned in by his owners and that he is crate trained, hou:thumbdown sebroken,and formally trained.The shelter states he is very sweet.I hope that he gets a loving home with people who truly care for him.This is so sad.Cathy andYoshi

yeah I saw that too in his profile...why on earth would they give him up? They already went through the house breaking so it's now full loving and play time...I can't see how you can have a dog that long and have no potty issues and have the need to get rid of him/her. I can't see how you can have a dog that long and get rid of them period.

Oh I hope they find him a home. He could ove in wiht me if I were close enough. it says they stay longer than 9 days if kennel space is available.

I hope someone takes the poor baby. I just hate to see him put down. There are people out there looking so maybe someone will take him.

I called yesterday (Sat) and there were 2 families there looking at him, and one had already filled out an application. They told me to call back Monday to see if he'd been adopted. I'll let you know what I find out!

That is a big relief. I ran the idea past DH but he wasn't having it right now. We have our hands full...lol.

I hope that his new home really loves him and makes him feel wanted.

Awwww I just found this post. Im so glad he found a home! I would hate to think of that little guy being put down. We adopted our miniature horse from a rescue organization in OK. I found him on petfinder when he was a year old and fell in love with him. He was an adorable baby.
