Hello and Welcome to Yorkie Talk! Do you have any pictures? How much does she weigh? I think you have come to the right place.........lots of yorkie lovers here and lots with great connections. Hang in there........
Pictures will help and weight, good teeth, potty trained...etc. All will help! ;)

Thru a friend of a friend here in Houston - we MAY have found a good home for Chloe - I'm hoping for updates soon and keeping my fingers crossed...the people who would like her come highly spoken of ...so....GOOD luck with rehoming Chloe :) and if things don't work out - maybe you can find someone right here that will give her a wonderful home ?

It's the next day since my last post...

I REALLY hope this baby finds a good home - the part that bothers me is she is living outside. I think yorkies feel the cold and heat far more than their larger counterparts so I REALLY think it's important this baby gets into a new home asap.

ANYONE who has an update or any ideas please post ? Thanks to friends here - SUZ and Artie & a friend here in Houston...I was in touch with the mom ....but would love to see this rehoming happen TODAY if possible....and if it's not with the people who are interested that I spoke with - possibly someone who posted here ?

Anyone have an update ?

:( I spent last night thinking about her. I Really hope today she'll be promised to someone and on her way....

I'm going to ask my husband again if we can just keep her until we find her a home. I asked him when I heard about this.... and he said if we ever got another ...he wanted to experience the puppy stages...I do understand that ...but 3 is very young still.

That would be great if someone could foster her until she gets a forever home. Do we know much more on her, is she potty trained, healthy etc?

I HAVE WONDERFUL NEWS ....I got it 10 minutes after I just posted - WE THINK She has a new forever home !

Thanks to Barb and Kelly - I DO think she'll be on her way to a new home within 24 hours !

and to her Mom....THANK you for doing this for her - I know it's hard to give up a pet but you're doing the best thing for her. The people who would like her would love a yorkie in their lives....I'm just tickled this is working out so well for Chloe....and my offer stands - if things don't work out today - LET ME KNOW please and I'll come get her.

Vee - this is wonderful news and I am so relieved and happy this little one won't be living in the backyard. If for some reason it doesn't work out you know you can call me for any help/support you will need. :)

One last thing - Chloe Mom - you are doing the right thing for your little girl and while I know it is breaking your heart it is the kindest thing you can do for you little one. I have a great deal of respect when people realize their decisions have to be made for the good of the dog and not themselves. Sometimes these decisions are painful but much kinder for the dog. Please, if it doesn't work out - please call Vee as she will know what to do and has a wonderful support group here at YT.

Thank you so much - my heart is so happy hearing this ! I really had her on my mind all night ....and this was GREAT to see this morning !

ALL the best to Chloe and I'll be waiting for updates ...I knew yesterday that this COULD happen... but am so glad it's happening quickly ! :) :) and if you need anything ...please let me know ok ?

Let us know please, what happened with Chloe. I am hanging on the edge of my seat...I have to go to lunch but will check this thread as soon as I come back.

It's OFFICIAL ! :) :) :) :) :) :) YAY !

Chloe will now have a new home in Houston and I hope all those who were interested find the yorkie they are looking for....

This just really seemed to be a perfect fit and let's wish Chloe ALL THE BEST in her new home.
