AKC Yorkie Puppies at Operation Kindness!

We got 3 akc full bred 4 month old yorkie puppies in today!! A lady came in saying her mom was trying to sell them on CL but just kept getting weirdos (surprise) so they decided we could find better homes for them. Of course we would! They are NOT available yet but should be in the next couple days. They have their tails and are going to be teapots (they look about 4-5 pounds already). There are 2 boys and 1 girl!

I will try to keep this updated if I know when they will come available but if I were in the market I would check our website:

Aww man! I wish you guys were closer! I love that they have their tails. What cutie pies! Love the names, too. Peppy and Patron. Cute!

@capt_noonie- that little bugger tried tempting me but luckily a nice family snatched her up before I could get sucked into the puppy black hole of cuteness- of which there is no return ;)

I'm new, so just asking for clarification... when you say "teapots" and that they are 4-5 pounds at 4 months... how much will they weigh at adulthood? I also understand there is something about AKC and yorkies weight.. I'm not clear on that.

Congrats on the adoption! May the other 2 find a loving home as well.

Mark, teapot is YT's play on the word teacup, of which we know is no such thing. A teapot is what we jokingly call any Yorkie above the "breed standard" weight of 7 lbs. We have members with purebred yorkies that are 15,16,17+++ lbs. These are not fat dogs, just ones who grew big. We have a teapot club, too, which one can join if they weigh > 7lbs. :http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/group.php?groupid=5 :D

Thank You, later that night, I realized the mistake I had made. You wrote teapot.... for some reason.. I saw tea cup... my bad!:rolleyes:
