What are you trying to say |
Uneducated AtlYorkie. If you mean me, I don't think it is nice to criticize other peoples' English or spelling. If I offended you I did not mean to and I am sorry. |
No I was not talking about you dottiesyrky. Thank you my uncle die a week after her. And to every one on here that want to talk about my English, Spelling, and/or Education if you don't like it then don't read it. Because some of you that is on here is not better then me because if you was then you would not be talking about me. I don't have time for this. I have a lot going on in my life. |
EXCUSE ME , I was the one who made the ORIGINAL STATEMENT of UNEDUCATED. It was meant in regards to not being educated about researching where puppies in pet stores come from. I would NEVER make a comment about ones personal education. |
Thank you, I am glad my comment did not offend you. Many posters seem to understand you well enough to comment?!!! Making such uncalled for comments is very ignorant....and that is uneducated!! I am so very sorry you lost your uncle too, you need empathy now not mean comments. Hang in there, time will heal your pain. |
TxVicki I was talking about post # 57, where comments were specific to grammar etc. I am happy that you would not do that. But 57 did mention you, I did not. I do so hate it when people are unkind here. |

Txvicki Please, I again was only talking to post # 57. There it was stated that the grammar etc was so bad that the poster could not understand the post. I used the 'uneducated' title as that was used at the top of the 57 post. Your original post concerned other matters and you have every right to comment. I am sorry I did not mean to infer that your comment was ignorant. Please accept my apologies. |

You have so much going on n your life. I am so sorry about the losses of your grandmother and uncle. I know how difficult it is to cope with both illness and the death of loved ones. When you are ready to find a Yorkie, please be very careful where you purchase one. After thirty years of having Yorkies, I was terrified about finding a reputable one who health tests and breeds to better the breed. It's much more than the money when you have an unhealthy pup. It's the heartache of seeing your precious baby ill. My Katie us such a happy, confident, loving, healthy, friendly little of girl. How can I put a price tag on that? |

 Thank you Lisaly |

Public apology. :( I apologized to atlyorkie in a private email, and I also wanted to apologize publicly. I really did not mean to offend her regarding her grammar, but after rereading my post I realize that I did. I teach English so I am sensitive about its usage. Again, I am so sorry atlyorkie. As I said, I did not read all of the posts and was not aware of all that you were going through. Stay strong friend. |
Princes mom Thank you so much, I am sure you have made Atlyorkie feel so much better. It takes courage and character to do this and I truly respect and applaud you for doing so. Apologies do not happen too frequently here. Again a very kind and considerate thing to do. :-) As I have said before on YT, all's well that ends well. |

dog I bought a poodle from a backyard breeder and that dog had the worst skin problem. Bad breeding=trouble. What about Yorkie rescue? The advice I tell my daughter, do not marry a man just because he is "cute". Same with a dog. Check it out totally, take your time, once he moves in it is very difficult to move him out. Trouble comes with haste. Wise people wait and do the right moves, like never buying from a rip-off dog gone pet store! |

TO AtlYorkie... I know the thread totally got off topic the last couple of pages, but SophiekatesMom made you a really great offer a few pages ago to help you find a pup. She lives in same city as you...maybe she could help you out. If you are going to buy a pup instead of rescuing it, and throw down a bunch of cash for it, you might as well get the best you can for your money. If you buy a pup from a pet store or a bad breeder, you could end up spending lots of money down the road on vet bills...or you could end up having a pup who dies earlier in life because of all it's health problems. Finding a good breeder can definitely be hard, especially when there are so many bad ones out there. Even when you are rescuing, finding the right pup can be a long process. I was looking around for a year to find my most recent rescue. Have you checked out petfinder.com?? It's too bad you didn't live closer to me...I am constantly stalking petfinder and I see great dogs on there all of the time!! |
PS... Here is a little guy I found in your area.... Petfinder Adoptable | Dog | Maltese | Alpharetta, GA | Scruff It sounds like this humane society is located in both GA and FL, so they can ship this little guy up to GA if he's adopted up there. I know he's a maltese/yorkie mix, but he looks like he's got A LOT of yorkie in him. My neighbor has a maltese/yorkie mix, along with 2 other purebred yorkies and I would have NEVER known her one dog was a mix if she wouldn't have told me. It looks like a purebred yorkie!! |
The offer still stands, I will help if she wants it. |
I once bought a yorkie from a pet store and never had a health problem with her.:). What is a Byb? |
I have a funny feeling that the original message from ATLyorkie is an attempt to play games with all you lovely and sincere yorkietalkers and that you have fallen into his/her trap. I can't believe that this has gone on for pages and pages. People can buy their pets where they wish and if expert advice isn't listened to, let it go. |

As for pet stores, their dogs are obtained from puppy mills where the breeding dogs are confined to their entire lives in cages. No health testing is done. These poor dogs lead a cruel and miserable short life. |

I once bought a Yorkie from a petshop and she is the most unhealthiest dog ever and no matter what I do she gets sick atleast once a month, really sick. I've spent well over $20,000 on her, well over. I have spent $3000 in just the last 2.1 months on her. DO NOT BUY FROM PET SHOPS.....please. |

WOW[/QUO If you have read and researched and still do not know how to purchase a pup from a reputable breeder or rescue etc., then perhaps you need to do more research before you make a decision. Sorry about your losses. I too have lost my share of loved ones "recently" and I just completed making arrangements for my mother who is dying, my pup who is dying, and still working and taking care of my mother and 2 very sick pups....it doesn't negate us from making proper decisions. Good luck with your search....and I'm glad we are providing entertainment for you! |
