This makes me sad Saw an ad from what may be a puppymill of sorts, trying to sell a "breeder female," a 2 y.o. girl, for $1200. Hasn't been bred yet, because at 7 lb. 7 oz, " I have not bred her yet because I feel she is too small for my male." (I wonder what she's trying to breed her with.........) Trying to sell her with full breeding rights. I emailed and asked what she would sell her for without papers, as a pet, to get SPAYED (and not used as a PUPPY FACTORY), and she replied, "$1,000." What the.......SAD. http://www.puppyfind.com/member_phot...koe0o2w545.jpg I hope someone buys her and SPAYS HER and keeps her INSIDE, as a PET. |
Oh my, this is sad. This sweet bacy hs such sad, sad eyes. I pray she finds a good home where she can be happy as a Pet. |
Poor baby :( |
omg her eyes make me want to cry. You can see all over her face that she is not happy :( :( :( :( |
Sad The poor little baby. She looks so very sad and dejected. I pray some compassionate mom takes her away from this unhappy situation and gives her lots of love and kindness. |
I just wish there was something I could DO. |
Wish I hadn't looked. She looks so sad. It's almost like she's knows she's just an oven for making puppies and no one is really going to love, pamper and cater to her in any way. I hate this so much it makes me outrageously angry at BYB's and irresponsible or frequent breeders where these babies are not treated as beloved pets, kept isolated and impregnated every chance whether she likes it or not! That sad, sad, sad little face will haunt me now. Goodness I wish I had the power to change her life for her. Now I"m sad as can be. |
I have to agree with all of you....she looks so sad....poor baby. Her eyes, oh my, her eyes....they look so dejected... |

Yeah but she's in what appears to be a puppymill and people say "never buy a dog from a puppymill," but how else can you get them out? |

Puppy mill I agree, a big dilemma. If we do buy them and save them, the horrible greeder wins and continues. If we don't, the poor dogs live a miserable life?? If faced with this horrible, situation I may err with my heart and save them. So hard, there is no good solution. Good question though. |

Okay, I just spoke to her owner. She apparently is basing her price on the fact that she paid $1,600 for her a year ago (or so she claims). She has never seen a vet since she has owned her. I asked her where/who she got her from and she wanted to know why I was asking. She couldn't remember the lady's name but said she'd email it to me later tonight. There are so many red flags here. I don't know why I even bothered to call because you can tell from her website what the deal is. There is no way she is going to get that much for that dog. Maybe if she is unable to sell her, she will contact me. She offered to sell her to me for $1,000 but claims she cannot go lower. She also said most people who breed and sell Yorkies don't offer a health guarantee... I would love to get her out of that situation but at some point common sense must prevail. Even if I got her out, what about the others? SAD |
