Yorkies in Shelter, Atlanta, GA I posted this in the general discussion section too, but wanted as many people as possible to see this. There are three male yorkies available for adoption at the Fulton County Animal Shelter in Atlanta, GA. One is listed as a Silky. PetHarbor.com: Animal Shelter adopt a pet; dogs, cats, puppies, kittens! Humane Society, SPCA. Lost & Found. Animal Search: ADOPTABLE __________________ |
How sad they look.........surely they scanned these babies and found NOTHING....I want to ask ANYONE that reads my post, if you own a Yorkie....ANY pet actually, my mind is just fixated on Yorkies....if you own a pet, and you DO NOT HAVE THAT BABY MICROCHIPPED, PLEASE tell me WHY???? I can not understand why people do not have their pets microchipped, and the only way to get that issue rectified is to understand WHY....I know these babies may have been taken there by their owners and given up, but there are hundreds of pets in shelters that have been picked up, lost and running the streets. OMG, "our" own little Tibbe could have been in this circumstance.....while I am certain his momma has Tibbe microchipped, many are not, and I just want to understand why. |

I have fostered quite a few dogs for different rescues and have found out that some shelters do not even scan the dogs. Why would they not do that? I live close to the Fulton Co. shelter and can go pull these little guys if a rescue wants me to do that. |
