Very Heartbroken! Puppies need a new home :-/
 

Looks like I am going to have to let my babies go. I still live at home with my parents, & at the time my hours at work have been cut back tremendously so I cannot afford to move out at this time. It has been a rough couple of months for my parents, my dad lost his job that he had been at for 33 years & now is starting a new one finally after being unemployed for 4 months, but the new job is very hard on him..wakes up at 2:30 in the morning & doesn't get home until after 7 in the evening & does this 6 days a week. With all of this that has been going on, my mom has become very stressed & overwhelmed with everything. And my 2 little yorkies are driving her absolutely nuts. We have 2 other dogs besides them & she just doesn't want any animals anymore. To let my babies go is going to feel like a death has occurred in my family. I love them so much & I'm so afraid of them ending up somewhere they are not happy. I have gotten several offers for them but I just can't be a 100% certain of the peoples intentions so I decided I would cone here to try to find a good home for them, I know everyone on this site is just as caring and loving as I am so I would feel more comfortable if I was able to find someone on here.

Max just turned a year old on June 25 & he weighs 3 lbs.
Miley will be a year old on August 1st & she weighs 5 lbs.

I am lcoated in East Texas, so if anyone is in the ark-la-Tex area or in Texas anywhere we could meet. I have family in the Denton/Dallas area so I'm there a lot also. Asking for a rehoming fee.

This is very hard for me, if any of you have had to do this, what helped you get through it & not feel guilty?

Please give them to a rescue! A rescue can do home visits and ensure the adopters are legitimate. There are some disreputable people on YT who try to sell dogs through PM, and I'm sure there are also disreputable people who would adopt dogs here. 90% of the members here are great people I'm sure, but without a home visit you really don't know. A rescue can find out for you, and might even let you keep them until a new home is found, and let you meet the new owners.

I think Yorkie Haven Rescue is able to do rescue in CA. We have members here on YT involved w that rescue.

I wish I could take them. I already have 4 dogs. It would be really cool if you could find someone that is nearby and would still let you visit and be part of the dogs' lives.

Awww, I'm so sorry:( I hope it all works out for all of you!!!!:hands: Maybe someone close by could even foster them for you for a while until you're able to move out.

I'm sorry, you're in Texas. Yorkie Haven does rescue pups in Texas also.

Yes, Ladyjane on here could direct you on what to do. Are both of your puppies fixed?

That's a great idea. Maybe you could PM Ladyjane. She would know how to help you w the pups.

OK yorkie Rescue is outstanding and they deal with yorkies in Texas too. I sent you a message on FB. I am sorry that you must rehome your babies. I'm in Texas too.

Sorry to hear this happen to you and your furbabies, It's so sad to have to rehome them. Also sorry to hear about your family . Will pray things will get better soon. Be strong !

Well if there's a way to get them to Alberta or BC I'm a short or long term foster home.
I work with the spca, and we never get small dogs in so everyone always goes to byb's :/
