New home needed for my yorkie girl
 
I haven't been on this site in a few years! My last post was also in regards to needing a new home for my Yorkie, I was able to arrange household chores in a way that allowed me to keep her in my life. However, now i'm facing divorce and will be unable to keep her due to the new living arrangements that won't allow for it.

Coco is a chocolate colored Yorkie female, she will be 4 yrs old in August. She is spayed and weighs in at a tad over 5lbs I think. AKC, but I never sent in the registration papers as there was/is no reason to. She is really quite tiny but has a sturdy bone structure. She is extremely loving and will sit with you 24/7 when given the chance. She loves to give kisses... almost to much LOL She gets along well with other dogs and is good with children (mine are 6 + as far as ages go) She is pee pad trained, but will pee/poop on any carpet that she is given the chance to. She has gotten better with this over the years but I don't know that she will ever be totally potty trained. I will be asking a rehoming fee of $250

I am sorry you are having to rehome her, how sad. I remember when I joined in 2009 I would read post from you. Hope you can find her a loving home, I know this is very difficult decision with everything else that is going on in your life. My Prayers are with you.

:animal36 Oh how heartbreaking to give your little pup away. I hope and pray that she will find a loving & caring home forever, to have belly rubs everyday.. Alaska is just way to far away. I really wish the bestest ever home for your sweetie.. :aimeeyork

She is a little Hershey chocolate cutie. I am waiting on my little tyke to come home. I wish I could but as this puppy will be my first pet since I have been living on my own. I think 2 at once would be a lot.

I hope she finds a good loving family. I would put a few photos of her and maybe get in contact with a local rescue that can maybe help place her in a good home.

We are happy to take Coco into rescue tomorrow. We do have some approved applicants that would make a great home for her.

I'm glad to hear that she will be going to a rescue where the applicants will be screened. Who ever gets to adopt her will be lucky :)

TLC has her in rescue with her. I had the privaledge of meeting her at Your Dog is Worth It Day. She is a doll. She needs some TLC and needs to be fattened up, but a doll. She's getting very good care and love with TLC. I'd love to put in to adopt her myself but I think my husband would kill me:(

Yes, as Elaine said she is with the rescue now. It was very hard to give her up but very comforting knowing she will be in the best hands being rehomed through them. Hopefully she has put some weight back on by now.

I admire you for giving her up to a rescue. They will make sure she goes to a loving home.

She has been adopted, I received the update this morning. Her foster Mom is adopting her :)
