Our new rescue "yorkie" 1 Attachment(s) Does this look like a purebred yorkie to y'all? I have recently read that a wiry coat yorkie does exist but she looks a lot like an australian terrier. Her paws are much bigger than our purebred yorkie of almost 2 years who is 7 lbs. We're taking her to vet tomorrow for last shot and other information/tips. Hoping she will be up to 7 lbs like our first yorkie, Nola. Also, Nola our 2-year old is having a hard time adjusting to the new princess. We have read tons of articles, did the first meet on neutral territory, etc. but Nola just isn't having it. Any tips? Will this ever change? :( Either way, she is a doll!! Thanks for your help. P.S. forgot to mention she is same length (12") at 4.5 months as our 2-year old now. not sure weight but she is all skin and bones :( |
Ah she sure is a cutie! |
It's difficult to tell sometimes when they are that young, but she looks Yorkie to me. Maybe she will be a bit larger. I love her cute face. She's adorable. Congratulations on your new family member! :p |
She is so cute. Your Nola will come around, it took Levi a good couple of weeks to be totally smitten with the arrival of Lily. Now they are best of friends. |
She's a cutie :) She looks all yorkie to me! |
Such a cute baby. She doesn't seem to have the Yorkie puppy look I have always seen at 4 1/2 mos., less fuzzy/fluffy, flatter-looking coat and she has a bit of a coarser-boned look to me but this little dog is darling all the way. The puppy look in that face says "trouble is my middle name"! Whatever this dog's genetics, you have a wonderful little love. Hope your Nola adjusts over time. |
