Here is Gracie's bio:

Gracie is a 7-1/2 month old petite lil' 3.8 pound package of high energy & spunk! She is dog friendly and interacts well with her Foster Mom's Yorkie girls and the kitty, too! She is currently in that teenager stage...her puppy coat is thinning out while her adult coat is coming in...slowly but, surely! She looks a little gangly right now while her weight has yet to catch up with her long legs but, it will.

Gracie was "semi" potty trained by her previous owner using a faux grass mat. We have introduced her to "real" grass and she is like most puppies...a work in progress. While indoors, her aim on the piddle pad is improving but, she still has oopsie's, too!

At night time, Gracie is a snuggler who will be sure to find a spot of her own in direct contact with her person or any fur-child willing to snuggle up with.

Like every puppy, toy time and snack times are her favorite times of the day! Gracie is spayed, up to date on her vaccines and micro-chipped.

Her ideal placement will be with at least one stay at home parent, no children (due to her size), a safe enclosed backyard and preferably a home with one other small dog for canine companionship and play.

AHHHH she sure is adorable. I bet she get's adopted fast.

I also the other Little Girl on there was turned into the shelter with her 3 puppies. I just don't understand people that do things like this.

I'm glad they are all in rescue.

Oh Little Lulu and her puppies were a sad situation of divorce and displacement :(

However just as soon as the shelter received this little family from the owner, YTNR stepped in to care for the Momma & her boys! :)

They are all precious and the little boy, Huey is my favorite!

Five months later...Great News!
 

Well, much longer than anyone expected but, lil' Miss Gracie was officially adopted last Friday!

She is now the latest addition to a wonderful young couple who consider their doggies their babies. Gracie now has a small Yorkie sister, Bailee and a very, very, very large Golden Retriever sister, Layla who weighs 120 pounds of pure gentle giant love! Gracie adapted to her new family just as I knew she would and now Bailee & Layla have a new sister and Gracie's new Momma has the Yorkie she always dreamed of who would let her cradle her like a baby in her arms...that's my sweet lil' monkey girl!:aimeeyork

I am usually happy when my fosters find their new homes but, this time it was oh so bittersweet...sniff, sniff:( That lil' girl & I developed a b:love:nd that I will never forget as long as I live! In fact, just as soon as I returned from her new families home, I was getting ready to take a long break in fostering.

However, fate had other plans. Within a week I was accepting another Yorkie puppy to foster and tonight, my new lil' foster boy arrived. So, I guess he's here to soothe my soul for a little while until he will find his new family, too!
