Looking for a new yorkie to love. My husband and I recently had to put down the love loaf of our life, our beloved "Yogi". We can both hardly bare how empty and lifeless our home feels without him. We want to find (rescue or adopt or rehome) another 4 legged blessing to take into our lives and love. Nothing is the same without one of Gods precious yorkies in it. Its as if the color has been sucked out of our lives and we are living in a blurred black and white world. We are located in the Chicago suburbs .I have looked on line at various rescues and shelters but nothing seems to be finding us that sounds right. We have been through so much with Yogi being so sick with 2 cancers. So to be honest, we are looking for a younger ,healthy yorkie with hopes of having him (or her ) around for hoping many years to come. If anyone knows of a yorkie that may need alot of love and a stable home without children or other pets, please contact me.We cannot ever replace Yogi but we have so much love to give another yorkie. They are like no other dogs to us. |
You could find someone who shows these dogs and see if they have any pet puppies. Generally they are healthy pups. |
Petfinder is a good place to start if you want to adopt and older dog. Sometimes they have pups. :) You do have to screen a bit since some dog brokers think posing as a rescue is a way to sell older pups. YTNR and YHR are both legitimate yorkie rescues. |
