Biewer Yorkies in rescue, Atlanta, GA 1 Attachment(s) Wanted to link them for anyone interested.... they are cuties! If you didn't have to be 23, I'd adopt. 3 years away from that. :( Adoptable Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie: Kip: Petfinder Kip, Kenny, and Kevin are sweet and spunky two month old Biewer Yorkshire Terriers. The are very unique because of their beautiful coloring. These darling boys were surrendered to us by their previous owners with their parents who have recently been adopted. We were not able to make these K-pups available until now because they arrived with severe ringworm. It took quite some time to rid them of this fungal infection, but they are all clear and ready to find their forever homes. Kip, Kenny, and Kevin are your typical rambunctious puppies. They will need to go to a home with a family member that will be there all day to help them become well trained canines. Please submit your application today and see if one of these adorable boys can be yours forever. If you would like to adopt, please visit Atlanta Pet Rescue's "How to Adopt" page for adoption information, application form and hours of the shelter. You should receive confirmation of receipt of the application within 48 hours. |
They will have no problem finding loving homes!! Handsome little guys. |
I am familliar with this Rescue, I believe their Mom was adopted by a friend of mine about a month ago (beautiful girl). I may fill out an application for one of them. I am betting they go fast, this rescue has a reputation for placing their dogs very quickly. Thanks for posting. |
Okay I filled out an application, now I will wait for the rejection. I don't mean to sound negitive but it is sometimes really hard to adopt a dog (I have had a few rejections, once because I had a cat). Wish me luck and again thank you for posting the link. |
I'm SO happy you filled out an application. I understand your frustration. I've filled out a few and end up getting emails back that I'm too far away, or already adoption pending, etc. Grrr. :( Good luck!!! |

Good luck! Let us know what happens! I just brought home a 9 month old Biewer and LOVE her to death. She has joined my 2 yorkies. |
Still no word on the application. I am doubtful that I am going to get one since the description asks for someone who is home all day, I am not I work. I think I did a pretty good job of explaining the care one of the boy puppies would get if they did decide to let me adopt. I have a dog walker who comes in every day now to walk Sophie Kate at around Noon and she would walk the puppy also. My dog walker is an experienced dog owner as well as a retired Vet Tech - I trust her 100 percent with Sophie Kate or else she would not be allowed to walk her. I also explained that I was a member of Yorkie Talk which has a lot of Biewer owners so its not like I am 1, not an experience Yorkie owner and 2, could not get all the advice and guidance I needed. I am really hoping they reconsider, everyone is on board here including the cat (he is hoping another dog will finally show Sophie Kate he is a cat and will not play with her toys). Keep you finger crossed. Oh and they have their mother up now, loo at Sugar is is beautiful Toy Dogs - Atlanta Pet Rescue & Adoption I had originally thought my friend adopted their Mom, was wrong (her babies were sold by the breeder and then they gave her up). |
Oh My Lord ... Did you see "Franks" tail?? I am Crying Why Why |
They are gorgeous! Im sure they wont be in the rescue for long. |
SophieKate's mom- I have my fingers crossed for you. |

Well I have good news and bad news, the boys were all adopted fast way before my interview. The good news is my name is on their list so maybe one day I will find my match. They have some female Biewer puppies now (Willa and Shane) and the Mom Sugar is still available. This rescue seems to get a lot of Yorkies, they had a Sophie and Bridget that they placed last week also. |
Hi, i know someone looking for a female biewer, anyone know where he can find one. i prefer rescue. :D thanks |
