Roriee....sweetie, you could be the poster child for what proper diagnosis, excellent care and the all encompassing love, good rescues are about! It makes my heart so happy to know your Christmas was spent with a family that loves you so much and that you continue to do so well!

She is just too precious for words, her story touched a lot of people and hearts. She couldn't be in a better foster home with a more wonderful family.

You people are absolutely amazing how you all baneded together to help out little Rouree. Not to steal her thread, but there is another little girl that needs help now.

She has a long road ahead. If you can help and make a donation to help her, I guarantee, you will feel so darn good....Again, thanks to everyone for all you do to help these animals in need.

Linda asked if I could post this. It is with a sad heart that I do.

Could you please post the following on Roriee's thread? It is a very sad day for all of us...I would not want all of the wonderful people on YT who have loved her to not know about this.

Sweet Roriee has been declining rapidly over the past few weeks. After lengthy consultations with her vet and neurologist, her foster parents and YHR have made the decision to let her go peacefully to Rainbow Bridge. She fought a valiant battle and had a wonderful year. At this point, it is clear that to go with further treatments would be to prolong the inevitable and make her suffer...the very last thing that we would want.


Her foster family is very upset today. This was not an easy decision to make. Please keep sweet Roriee and her foster parents and also her foster grandmom in your thoughts and prayers.


So many of you have loved her for so long. It may not be easy now, but in time we will all remember her sweet spirit and the fight she had in her. She was truly a treasure.

Roriee i have asked my sweet angel Ellie to be right at the bridge welcoming you. Just as she did on earth- she will be there for you.

That is so hard to read. RIP sweet Roriee. You fought as long as you could, and you brightened so many people's lives knowing such a tiny spirit was so brave.

I am so very sorry - my thoughts and prayers are with all those who knew and loved Roriee, whether in person, or through posts.

Linda is right, many of us have loved Roriee for a long time. It was hard not to love a girl as special as this. She was an inspiration, shining star.

RIP sweet girl. We'll miss you.

What sad news to come home to tonight.

Roriee's foster parents should get some comfort in the fact that this little girl experienced love, compassion, and the best vet care during this past year, thanks to them and YHR.

Oh Dearest Roriee,

I will so miss your cute pictures and your charming stories. I am crying for you now, but I know in my heart you're in a better place, free of pain, running free.

You stole my heart even though we never met, and now it's broken.

I will love you and remember you forever, Little One, Little Roarie.
