Continuing my prayers for Roriee. Everytime I see a positive update on her health it makes one part of my world seem right. I can only imagine how happy her foster parents are with each improvement. The previous poster said it so well when stating that following Roriee's story has taught me so much about rescues. In the past I have always enjoyed following the posts in regards to the rescues. The posts of both Roriee and another rescue at YHR named Forrest have convinced us that we have the love in our hearts for another little guy- a brother for Sophie Kate and yes it will be a rescue. Now to just find the right little boy, I will know him when I see him . Continue to improve Roriee, you have a lot of people in your corner. |
Good luck with your search! I too take a peek in this thread when I see there is an update. |
Roriee Update! 2 Attachment(s) Here is the latest update from Roriee's foster mom: 06/03/10 - Roriee had her second chemo treatment last week and her bloodwork this week and is still doing great! She got a little spunkier after her treatment, so you can kind of tell when it is getting time for another one. We are taking her off the one steroid and going to start her on the other one so we can get the necessary antibiotics into her system and get her staph infection cleared up. She gets the bandage on her leg changed once a week and the doctor said it is healing wonderfully! She is doing fantastic! Attachment 318454 Attachment 318455 |

These treatments are amazing! Her foster mom told me that she wags her tail all of the time and is so perky. Said she is just like any other pup at this point! She certainly is a poster child for hope for anyone with a newly diagnosed GME pupster. :) |
