So happy to see Bless you Roriee and God bless your rescue group, and your Mom. I hope you continue with many days ahead of you in Good Health and Happiness. Though I dont post hardly ever these last few days have touched my heart to speak up and commend this forum for gathering together, even under heavy fire, to speak up and protect our babies. I also have a little girl Shelby who has AAI, Hydrocephalus( water on the brain), Cardiomegaly (enlarged heart), and my tickler a 13th rib anomoly, these are only a few congenital defects we became aware. We have gone down a difficult road in recovery, surgery, therapy, follow ups and constant vigilance on our sweetheart. My solace was reading here from work and in the wee hours of the morning, educating myself, EDUCATE but teach gently. I pray everyday and thank GOD for Shelby in our lives one more day. Please YT'ers dont stop speak up and educated anyone who will listen and those who wont stay vigilant Mom to Mooshe, Luka, Cocoa and the love of our lives Shelby |
Just stopped in for my Roriee fix. I love that little girl! Anaic! God love ya. You must have a heart as big as a house. I will keep you and little Shelby in my prayers right along with the ones I say for Roriee and Marcel just to name a couple of my special little friends. lol. I think I am going to post a link to your post the next time someone criticizes us for telling people how it is! |
Roriee has touched so many hearts with her grit and determination to push past her pain and to use all the strength her little body could muster to get better....What a testament to what can come from within......You go girl, live life to the fullest! |

Add me to the list of sending prayers - what a long way she's come thanks to you all. She really is a little trouper but couldn't be where she is if it weren't for the big hearts here. hugs and keep up the great work ! After such doom and gloom it's so good to hear how well she's doing. |

We take applications for all of our pups. She would only be adopted to someone who was able to care for her properly which would also include the ability to financially provide for her care. Trust me, she would only go to the best possible home. We have been successful in the past in placing pups with special needs. One that stands out in my mind was one with hydrocephalus. He is living a wonderful life! :) |

Oh wow. :( I would say that must be so sad to work with all sick pups, but then I think: It must be so uplifting and satisfying, seeing the second chance at life. |

Roriee Update! 3 Attachment(s) Just got an update from Jen...and new pics! :) Roriee is such a little doll! She continues to amaze everyone.... 06/28/10 - Roriee is still doing fantastic! She sure has opened up vocally and learned quite well from the other pups in the home! She chimes right in and barks when someone comes in the door or barks at the other pups when they are playing and she doesn't think they should. She loves to play all the time! She is not a fan of baths though, she get very mopey for about a day after she gets her bath. She is continuing her chemo treatments and they are still working! The doctor keeps saying he wouldn't believe it had he not seen it with his own eyes. Thank you to everyone for your continued thoughts and prayers! It has been a miracle for little Miss Roriee!
