Hi! My name is Okie. I am a 6 pound 6 month old Yorkie. I was rescued from a bad breeder and given to the Angels so they could take care of me. I am a little scared because I am learning what it is like to live in a house and be treated as a pet. I am getting the hang of it though!
I enjoy being held and my foster mom says that I am always giving her hugs because I like to put my head up on her shoulder. Once I trust a person, I am want lots of attention and hugs from them. I get a little shaky when first meeting new people, but with time and confidence that should subside.
I am still a puppy and I like to play! I enjoy running and playing with the other dogs here at my foster home. I like to play with toys too, but I do not know how to play with people and toys. Mom says that is something we will be working on. Oh and the whole potty training thing too. Mom says I am starting to learn and she always tells me what a good boy I am when I go outside. I am pretty good about using the potty pads inside when I do not know how to tell mom I need to go out.
I am a very happy little boy and because of my underbite, it looks like I am smiling all the time. Well why would I not be smiling, I am a lucky boy!
