Small Biewer in AL KILL SHELTER 2 Attachment(s) Hello again everyone! As most of you know, I am the director of animal control for talladega county alabama (about halfway between birmingham and atlanta). We have the sweetest baby that we picked up running at large. I really hope that his owners come to pick him up (he has no tags or microchip) but if not he will be up for adoption. We guess his age at beteen 3-5yrs. He weighs about 5-6lbs. He looks like a biewer (sp?) but is probably a yorkie-poo or yorkie-tzu. He is very tentative with new people...not nippy, just shy. I would not recomend him for someone with children...probably best for a single person or older couple. Adoption fee will only be $45 and includes spay/neuter and vaccinations!!! Title said this is a killer shelter. If he's not adopted in the time allotted, I'll take him. Just have to figure out how I'm going to get him. You can PM me. |
From what I understand there is a rescue ready to step in...this little one won't be put down. The shelter has to hold the dog for x amount of time to see if his owner comes forward. |

He sure looks like a Biewer doesn't he. Bogie's little face looked just like that when we got him, his hair was cut short all over ,even on his head and he looked just like that. Surely his family is looking for him. I hope they are able to find him. |

Hello again! We are a kill shelter...but ladyjane is correct. There is no way this little darlin will be euthanized. I put that in the thread title because it catches attention (((sorry but true!!))) I have a couple of rescues that have pm'd me already! I do hope his owners come forward because he is very shy, but he will find a good home even if I have to personally foster him until that happens or a rescue group can pick him up!!! |
