This is Harley. We do not have him in our home. They lady who has him wants to "get rid of him". She already took 2 other puppies from this same litter to our local kill shelter. :( She is NOT the breeder, I think the puppies were all "dropped" on her (those were her words). So instead of taking Harley to the kill shelter, I told her I found help find him a home. The lady said he is around 4-5 months old. He is not neutered and not had his rabies shot yet. He is probably around 8lbs or so (have not been able to weigh him). He is one big poof ball lol His dad was a Yorkie poo and they don't know what the mom is. So far, he is doing well with going outside to potty but does have an occasional accident. He is such a sweetie and just wanted to love on me the entire time I was there. He has a rehoming fee of $50 just to make sure he goes to a good home. The lady is not willing to neuter him since she has no plans of keeping him, so the sooner he finds his forever home, the better. I would like an agreement with whoever adopts him that he will be neutered asap.

What a heartless person. Knowing it's a "kill" shelter. Don't suppose there's a rescue shelter in your area. Or w/in reason. Wouldn't hurt to call the closest one. I'm sooo sad about the other 2.

I KNOW! I was shocked! She even said that she cried about it... uh huh... :rolleyes: At this point, she is willing to keep him for a little while longer b/c she knows I am actively seeking a home for him.

Have you suggested that she turn him over to a rescue? $50 is not going to insure a good home.

If she does not want to surrender him to a rescue and you plan on finding a home, I strongly suggest you do a vet check on anyone interested...and also a home visit.

IMO, neither is 1500. So many people buy puppies, spending LOTS of money and they STILL end up in the pounds or they are just neglected and left alone for the majority of their lives. The reason he is only $50 is because I do not want to make any money off of him, I feel bad for taking $50!

Whenever placing a puppy, kitten, etc (I have homed MANY of them) I do do my research. I don't want the poor babies ending right back up in the same situation. :(

I ONLY made the comment because you said that the reason for it was to make sure it was a good home. :)

No amount will do that. I agree.

You did not mention doing vet check....so I simply suggested it. And...simply suggested rescue, but if you think you want to do it yourself, go for it! :)

No, they went to separate homes. Harley went to Ohio and Chase is in Indiana. They were rehomed months ago, I just forgot to close the thread!
